The apartment is located on the second floor without lift of a historic building, characterized by wide stone stairs.

The entrance door overlooks the large living room, with dining area and small terrace on the left side. On the same side there is a fully equipped kitchen with Florentine tiles, dishwasher, oven and microwave. On the right side of the hall a door leads to the TV room, with a sofa that can be prepared as single bed on request, adding an extra bedroom to the two already in the apartment. Walking in the hallway on the right is the first bathroom with a large shower and on the left a storage room with the washing machine. Further on to the right there is the master bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with hot tub with shower, while on the left there is the second double bedroom.

The terrace offers a further option to the beautiful table in the living room-dining room for the sunny days. The bedrooms are very quiet and spacious, with internal views over the Florentine terracotta roofs.

Ideal for families or couples of friends, the apartment is suitable for both short and longer stays.

Wonderful stay

Everything was great about this apartment. Location was perfect, on a lively street with restaurants and grocery stores very close. Easy walk to everything in Florence. Beds were comfortable, apartment is rather large and spread out for privacy. Would definitely rent again.

Great location, comfortable apartment

We truly enjoyed our stay, the apartment had everything we needed, was very comfortable and so conveniently located. Matias, the property manager was in communication with us before our arrival. His associate Cesare helped us carry luggage up the stairs, and gave us a lot of good restaurant recommendations.

Three days in Florence

Although the location is great and the apartment is spacious and quiet, we found the furnishings to be very tired (e.g., couches too uncomfortable for sitting, washing machine functional but moldy). The dishes and cutlery were dirty. The wifi was spotty and slow. If these are not important to you, then you will be satisfied.

Great location for seeing the sights in Florence

We had a great stay! We loved the flat. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. One complaint! The shower in the 2nd bath is unusable. It is impossible to stand and take a shower there. You can’t rent a better flat in Florence, or from better hosts. The location is absolutely perfect, a 2 minute walk from the Duomo, 5 from the David, 10 from the Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio, and literally on the same block as the Palazzo Medici —yet on a quiet, less trafficked street. And the flat is perfectly appointed, spacious, and cool. But I want to say something about the hosts. The evening we arrived I fell crossing the street and broke my thumb. I couldn’t carry my bag and no cabs were available.,Cesare, our check-in contact, drove to pick us up and hauled my bag up two flights of stairs. And Matias, our host, answered all kinds of questions about health care. These people do not just collect your money and ignore you. They are kind, responsive, patient, and generous. Florence proved cruel to me on this visit, but this property was a haven.

My wife and I and another couple enjoyed 4 days at this property. The location was fantastic. There are several flights of stairs but our arty was late 50's/early 60's and we had no issues. The unit was well-appointed and everything worked as described. Host even made arrangements for me to have a package shipped to him to await my arrival for pickup.

Terrific place in excellent location

This apartment is spacious (very comfortable for 2-4 guests), charming, and functional. Excellent location, just one block from San Lorenzo; two blocks from the Duomo ;two or three blocks, in the opposite direction, from, the Mercato Centrale; and a 15-min walk from Sta. Maria Novella (easy walk to train station if you don't have much luggage). Lots of restaurants and bars and shops nearby. But it's silent... you'll hear nothing but church bells and will get a fantastic night's sleep on a excellent mattress with fluffy pillows and immaculate linens. Hard to imagine a better property in Florence at this price point. Highly recommended!

Great location and lovely property in Firenze!

Our group of two couples had a wonderful 3 nights’ stay in Firenze! It was our first trip to Italy, and it couldn’t have been more enjoyable. This location was close to the train station (Santa Maria Novella) - just an 8 minute walk - as well as to many other attractions, including the Duomo (climb the tower!), the Uffizi, Pitti Palace, Ponte Vecchio Accademia Gallery, Mercato Centrale, you name it. There are also many nice places to eat and drink nearby. Firenze is a very walkable city, and you are in the heart of it here. The property manager, Matias, is very responsive and helpful, even coming to the rescue as we faced challenges returning our rental car upon arrival in the city. Matias had reached out well in advance of our stay to ensure that they would have the apartment set up according to our group’s needs. The apartment is not “new,” but it is very comfortable, air-conditioned, and the washing machine was much appreciated! We enjoyed some lovely mornings on the small terrace, enjoying our breakfast out there. Be aware that there are three flights of stairs, but these take you away from the hustle and bustle of a busy neighborhood to a lovely oasis. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a perfect stay. This is an excellent location, quiet street, and nice large apartment. We did several loads of laundry and the washing machine worked well, with easy instructions. Importantly, the air conditioning worked very well in the bedrooms and main area. It was mid-90’s when we were here, and the apt was initially very warm. It took a couple hours to cool down, but they stayed cool for the rest of our stay. Thank goodness! Fridge and freezer worked well too. We short circuited the breaker but there were clear instructions about what to do in that circumstance and we got the power back easily. We would definitely recommend!

Flaws in Florence

Generally I never am one to complain…first let me start off by saying the apartments location was a 10 out of 10..just great! The apartment on the other hand, was not very clean and sanitary. There was mold all over the ceiling and some walls in the attached bedroom w bathroom and there are holes around the bathtub (that was not in working condition) I thought it was a working jacuzzi??? My wife and one other guest have severe allergies and every time we entered the apartment they were coughing and stuffy.There was such a foul sewer oder once you opened the front door of the apartment til you left the building. Oh second floor apartment and it’s actually almost 3 full flights of stairs…exhausting. The couch’s in both the living room and side room are not clean. We covered them with the extra blankets that were available. Apparently, management knew and knows about the apartments problems but seem to not take care of the necessary issues.

Great Location, right in the heart of everything. On the 2nd floor, which is actually the 3rd floor, with no lift. Quiet apartment even being on a busy street. Great to have a washing machine, comfy beds, large bathrooms and a nice kitchen. Would stay here again.

Great location!

Great location with walking distance to the Duomo, David, Iffizi, Central Market and Ponte Vecchio Bridge. Rooms were clean and ready when we arrived. Comfortable beds too!
