Overall our stay was quite good. The hosts allowed us to drop off our bags before check-in, allowing us to begin our visit eurned after to Florence. However, when we returned a couple of hours after check-in time, our room had still not been cleaned. This was extremely frustrating, but the hosts acted quickly, and the 2 Percys did a quick, thorough job getting things right. The only other blemish was one bedroom did not have a working t.v. That being said, the apartment is beyond spacious, the kitchen is adequately equipped and the location is ideal for visiting the city.

Amazing find in the heart of old Florence. Just a few steps from the Duomo; everything is walking distance. Restaurants, sites, nightlife, museums. Behind the 15 foot entrance lies a tranquil courtyard with trees and flowers. Fantastico

Fantastic flat with a Duomo view

We absolutely loved our stay at this flat. The rooms were large and accommodating, and the bathrooms were updated. Everything was clean and the location was also amazing. The only improvement could be to have a few amenities on hand. For instance, having just a few spices or a roll of paper towel or kitchen towel would’ve made a huge difference. However, I don’t want that to lower my rating of this awesome place. Highly recommend..

Beautiful apartment, not enough furniture

This place is a lovely spacious Florentine apartment with a beautiful courtyard below. It would be a five star if there was more furniture - there is none on the terrace and not enough in the living room. Also, we were each given only one pillow and one towel for five nights. There should be more linens and pillows.

Great location but very austere apartment

While the apt is incredibly spacious and on a phenomenal location, don’t expect much beyond that. Little to no furniture, which makes the place uninviting and cold. No place to hang your clothes after a wash, nothing available in the kitchen.. as in nothing; no paper towels, no napkins, no essentials (salt, pepper, sugar, etc.) It is rare to find such a spacious short term rental in Europe but despite that, we wouldn’t go back to this apartment.

Almost a 5 Star Apartment

There is a lot to love about this apartment. The location is terrific, the rooms are large and comfortable, the terrace is beautiful, the bathrooms have been recently renovated, the air conditioning is great and it is very clean. The only problem is that it is very sparsely furnished. There was no furniture on the terrace, the kitchen had no cutting board, knives, dish towels, ice tray or bowls and the living room furniture was sparse and uncomfortable. If it were better furnished, it would be a stunning apartment. Also we had mixed experiences with the host agency. Two of our contacts with them were very good but the other two contacts were cold and unhelpful.

Great location

Clean beautiful apartment in a great location. However, experienced several issues. Apartment lost power three times requiring a trip each time to reset breaker as instructed by the host. Yes, toilet seats are loose and one was broken. In addition one of the toilets malfunctioned (unable to flush) requiring a repair. Lighting in one bathroom did not work. Terrace could be lovely with a little clean up (pull dead plants and store mop, bucket etc in another location). Also, would be nice is the host were to provided basic supplies (paper towels, dishwasher soap etc and more than one bath towel per guest for a 5 day stay (apartment has no dryer). With a little attention to detail and resolution of items previously identified this apartment would deserve a 5 star review.

Spacious apartment in a beautiful location

My husband and I stayed in this lovely property for five nights. We were joined by our niece and her partner. The apartment was exactly as described in the information provided by the rental company, very large and ideally located just a short walk from the Duomo. The furnishings seem sparse but I think that is because the apartment is so large. With four adults we had the things that we really wanted,; comfortable beds, two nice bathrooms, a dining room table and chairs (we ate breakfast in the flat) and a washing machine. There is a Conrad Express even closer than the Duomo so renters can easily pick up essentials. Marie-Claire and Edoardo from Homes in Florence were very responsive to questions before and during our stay. We requested an extra set of keys so the two couples could tour separately at times and Marie-Claire had them delivered to us. We had trouble with the shower operation in one of the bathrooms and she sent a video demonstrating proper use. Both were above and beyond in terms of customer service. I highly recommend this apartment and this company.

Great location!

Our family of 4 chose this listing last minute as we decided to stay overnight in Florence. Very close to everything. Property manager met us and showed us everything we needed to know about the apartment. The apartment was huge. Lots of space. We didnt spend a whole lot of time inside as we were out sightseeing. Beds were comfy, bathrooms were nice and modern. Each room had its on AC unit which was nice after a long hot day of walking. We were only there for a night but would have enjoyed a longer stay if we had more time. 15 minute walk to train station, less than 5 minute walk to Duomo. Souvenir shops and cafés very close also.

Defekte Kübel in beiden Bädern, gebrochene Wc-bürste, kein warmes Duschwasser in einem der Bäder, unbrauchbare kaputte Stehlampe im Wohnzimmer. Very comfortable, charming apartment! Walking distance to everything and very close to Il Duomo and a great coffee place. No screens on the doors though and we had a few mosquitos ;) But highly recommend this apartment!

Great location

Great location with easy walking distance to the popular sites. Clean large bedrooms with updated bathrooms with modern furnishings. Large patio but no furnishings and new kitchen appliances but no cooking oil or salt/pepper, papper towel and could not figure out what type of coffee pods to use in coffee machine.
