The gorgeous Yarn Market, a covered area constructed in 1609 specifically to house the wool traders and other fabric merchants, is the main point of the High Street despite the fact that the castle on its hill dominates the entire village. Fine plasterwork ceilings may be found inside Dunster Castle, and the expansive terraced gardens, which also house many rare shrubs and trees, provide stunning views of the sea and the Quantock Mountains.
