Excellent Stay

The house is beautiful from the spacious living areas to the beautiful views from the bedrooms and living rooms to the jacuzzi. The house is equipped with everything you need and I mean everything. The house was spotless. Brian and Dawn were great answered all questions and gave advice. We arrived early so went to get some lunch and to save 1 of us walking up the Hill Bryan came to let us know the property was ready and gave us a lift. The house has an excellent bbq and whilst we didn’t have the best weather didn’t stop us using the great hot tub. The house is near two pubs, but be mindful they only open at 4pm during the week. We did a trip to Tenby which was lovely. Bring your food with you like we did and the nearest supermarket is 25 minutes away.

About the host

We’re Dawn and Brian, and Llwynblyfyn is more than just a holiday home to us — it’s a place we’ve poured our hearts into. When we first found this beautiful spot in the Cothi Valley, we knew it had something special. The views, the peace, the wildlife… it felt like a retreat from the world, and we wanted to share that feeling with others.

Why they chose this property

We chose the Cothi Valley because it’s one of those rare places that instantly feels special. The moment we first stood on the land at Llwynblyfyn, we were surrounded by complete peace — rolling hills, open skies, and wildlife everywhere. It felt like a hidden corner of Wales that the world hadn’t quite discovered yet.

We wanted a home where people could slow down, breathe, and reconnect — with nature, with each other, and with themselves. The Cothi Valley offers exactly that. From red kites circling overhead to quiet walks along the river, it’s a place that brings calm the moment you arrive.

We also loved that the area is beautifully rural yet close to so many wonderful places: forests, castles, mountain‑bike trails, historic towns, and the stunning Welsh countryside in every direction. It’s peaceful without being isolated — the perfect balance.

Most of all, we chose this area because it felt like home to us, and we wanted to create a space where guests could feel the same.

What makes this property unique

Llwynblyfyn is unique because it offers something rare: true luxury in complete countryside tranquillity, without compromising on space, comfort, or accessibility. Set in the stunning Cothi Valley, the home feels peaceful and remote, yet remains close to forests, trails, historic towns, and local attractions.

What sets us apart:

Fully accessible design — including a DOC M compliant wet room and level ground‑floor layout, making the home comfortable for all guests.

A genuine sense of privacy — tucked away down a quiet lane with uninterrupted valley views.

Luxury touches throughout — from the 86‑inch Smart TV to the modern kitchen with three ovens and an American fridge freezer.

A 7‑seater hot tub overlooking the countryside — perfect for relaxing after a day exploring.

Abundant wildlife — red kites soaring overhead, and if you’re lucky, otters, foxes, and badgers right outside your window.

Thoughtful hosting — Dawn & Brian have poured their hearts into creating a warm, welcoming space designed for families, groups, and special occasions.

Spacious living areas — including a large dining table for 12, ideal for celebrations and shared meals.

A pristine, pet‑free, smoke‑free environment — perfect for guests with allergies or those seeking a clean, peaceful retreat.

Llwynblyfyn isn’t just a place to stay — it’s a place to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the beauty of rural Wales in complete comfort.
