About this property
3 bed terrace house half a mile from Kew Gardens Station
Period 3 bed house with desk space and a printer in one bedroom, large reception area with period polished dark wood furniture, a large wet room, kitchen and large conservatory overlooking a small back yard. The house sits secluded behind a privet hedge, leaving space to park bikes and motorbikes in the front yard.
Walking distance from Kew Green and a riverside walk, past an outdoor playground, Kew Pier for boat trips, and pubs. Half a mile from Kew Gardens Station or Kew Station on the District Line.; close to buses and Zipcars.
Workspace is in one of the bedrooms, that has a desk, office chair, and printer. Or you could use the large conservatory which has a table and good light.
There is one double bed and two singles in the 3 bedrooms. Also 4 airbeds with sleeping bags and cotton liners for guests to make-up themselves. I can change the listing to allow more than eight guests and add a foam mattress, but there is only one shower!
Parking is impractical but there are Zipcars for hire nearby or you could book a parking spot in advance on Justpark. More parking details on http : // bit . ly / TW93BSpark

I live about half an hour away in East Sheen.
Why they chose this property
This is a house my parents bought when they retired and children left home. I think they chose well. They did worry about the narrow street, and, sure enough, the council has added a controlled parking zone and yellow lines.
What makes this property unique
Abrahim Food and Wine is usually open 6am till 9am just 50 meters away.
No parking but plenty of room for bikes in the front yard and Zipcars parked close.
The River Thames with its walking and cycle path is not much further.
Kew Gardens is expensive, but has an aerial walkway for children and a Childrens' garden.
The National Archives have free workspace and a free exhibition for anyone with or without a ticket. With the right ID ordered in advance, it is free to join and call-up archives from way-back.
The house is tidier than in the photos but has not changed in years, so you get polished mahogany furniture for a change to the usual, as well as some 1970s bed linen.
