Each studio has a well-equipped kitchenette, en suite shower room and comfortable king-size bed leading out onto a decked patio area with a bubbling outdoor hot tub along with outdoor seating, providing the perfect place to relax and unwind.. Set in a wonderful rural and scenic location, The Pond holiday park looks out to the rolling hills of Dumfries and Galloway. Offering stunning countryside views teeming with wildlife, The Pond Lodges boasts some of the most spectacular and renowned scenery Scotland has to offer.

Each accommodation has been lovingly presented with comfort in mind. The well-appointed open-plan studio lodge has a well-equipped kitchenette with breakfast bar and a comfortable king size bed with en-suite bathroom, leading out on to covered decking with outdoor seating area providing the perfect place to relax and unwind. For the extra romantic touch, a freshly prepared breakfast hamper can be delivered for the morning.

The Pond Lodges is also close to the picturesque towns of Kirkcudbright and Castle Douglas, as well as historical attractions. Cherry Lodge had everything you need for a few nights stay, small but well equipped kitchen, very good shower room, double bed looking out onto a great view, also breakfast bar with stools looking onto view. Hot tub was great bonus on decking with yet more chairs to sit & take in the views

No facilities on site. A 15 minute drive into Castle Douglas. Perfect if you're just looking for nice walks and well needed rest. Would definitely recommend Cherry Lodge.

The lodge was exactly as described.

The lodge was exactly as described.Very clean and had everything we needed for our 4 night stay.Our only issue was the bed, there was springs digging into our body and the pillows were very flat. Other reviews had also mentioned this.The resident Dog Bob was very friendly and welcomed us back after a walk, he looked so excited to see us and get a cuddle.I'd definitely go back.

Just Wonderful

When we arrived, the lodge was spotlessly clean. It’s in a perfect location with wonderful views all around. Me and my wife would just sit and watch the horses trot by and the Red Kites loop around the sky. The Hot Blast trail is a great way to burn a few calories after breakfast and gives even better views from up around Neilson’s monument. We will definitely be back.
