About this property
Ramblers is an ideal base for couples looking to stay
Ramblers is ideally situated, close to the centre of the popular village of Marnhull, and offers easy access to numerous footpaths for relaxing countryside walks in this beautiful part of North Dorset. The accommodation includes an open-plan sitting area, dining area and kitchen, with bi-folding doors which open out to the large lawned garden.
Four steps lead up to a shower room, and also the first of the two double bedrooms which has a television.
On the first floor is a generous double bedroom suite which includes a walk-in wardrobe, en-suite shower room, television and french doors leading to a small balcony with garden furniture and views of the pretty countryside.
The village of Marnhull is the largest village in Dorset and was named 'Marlot' in Thomas Hardy’s Tess of the D’Urbervilles. Lying in the Blackmore Vale, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Marnhull is surrounded by glorious countryside and well served by local village stores, along with two pubs, both within walking distance of Ramblers. The market towns of Sturminster Newton, Shaftesbury, Sherborne, Blandford forum, and the county town of Dorchester are all within easy reach. With the Jurassic Coast less than an hour's drive away, a stay at this comfortable property offers plenty of opportunity for exploring the delights of Dorset.
Additional Information:
Up to two well-behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge).
There is almost no mobile signal in the property. Either switch to WiFi calls or you can get a signal in the garden.
Ramblers is attached to the neighbouring property, and the drive at the front of the property is shared.
Please note that internet access is offered at this property for recreational purposes only and is not meant for business use or streaming. Speed/service may vary depending on the package obtained by the owner which is provided to guests free of charge. Should guests experience difficulties or loss of use, neither the owner nor Dorset Hideaways will be held responsible.
