Villa Mauritius is a charming holiday home located in Galé, just a 10-minute drive from the center of Albufeira and only 400 meters from some of the Algarve’s finest beaches. With stunning sea views and close proximity to a long stretch of sand, it is the perfect spot for seaside walks and water activities.



The spacious and bright living room provides a welcoming atmosphere, ideal for family gatherings and relaxing moments.



On the ground floor, there is a double bedroom with an en suite bathroom with a shower, as well as a guest bathroom for added convenience.



On the first floor, there are two double bedrooms, both with en suite bathrooms featuring bathtubs, and two twin bedrooms served by an additional bathroom with a bathtub.



The kitchen is fully equipped, offering everything needed to prepare home-cooked meals with ease and comfort during your stay.



Outside, the villa features an inviting swimming pool surrounded by a lawn, perfect for relaxing under the Algarve sun. There is also an annex with a support bathroom and a traditional BBQ area for delightful outdoor meals.



With a privileged location just a short walk from Galé and Lourenço beaches, as well as nearby restaurants and supermarkets, Villa Mauritius is the ideal retreat for an unforgettable holiday in the Algarve.



The changeover day for this property is Saturday (however, there may be flexibility in low season).

If your flights are already booked or your dates are fixed and do not match the property's changeover day, please send us an inquiry before booking to confirm if your dates can be accommodated.



This property is self-catered. For your convenience, welcome food baskets can be booked in advance (additional cost).



Renting a car is not essential for your stay, given the property’s location. However, if you wish, we will be happy to assist with the car rental. We can also arrange transfers if needed.



There are some restrictions for group bookings.

Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please take all trash to the public waste containers daily and before check-out. We appreciate your cooperation and care for the property.
Please return the keys to the lockbox before leaving. Ensure it is fully closed and the code scrambled. We appreciate your cooperation.
Before leaving, please turn off all lights, A/C units and non-essential equipment. Thank you for supporting energy sustainability.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Minimum/multiples 7 night stay & Changeover day is on Saturday, however this may be flexible in low season.
Breakage Deposit: €400 (payable by credit card only, 2 weeks prior arrival). Groups not allowed.

We had an amazing time at Villa Mauritius! The house is perfect for large families, with plenty of space and comfortable bedrooms. The kitchen and outdoor BBQ area were great for preparing meals, and we enjoyed dining on the terrace overlooking the pool. The kids loved the games room, and the proximity to the beach made it easy to pop down for a swim or enjoy water sports. The villa’s location in Galé is ideal, close to restaurants, supermarkets, and only a short drive to Albufeira. Highly recommended for a relaxing and fun holiday!

Villa Mauritius exceeded all our expectations! The location is unbeatable, just a few minutes' walk to the stunning beaches of Galé, as well as great restaurants and shops. The villa itself is spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The sea views from the balconies were breathtaking, and we loved relaxing by the private pool surrounded by beautiful gardens. The games room was a fantastic bonus, keeping everyone entertained in the evenings. This was a perfect spot for our family holiday, and we can’t wait to return!

Wonderful house and super nice service.

Very comforting service. The house was abolutely clean and in perfect shape. We had a marvellous trip. We also did a boat trip for which we were picked up at our house. We strongly recommend to do so. It was a wonderful day.

Pros: Nice outdoor space with plenty of room for gathering at the pool or around the table. Beach and restaurants are just a few minutes walk down the road. Cons: The house is older and dark and needs some TLC. The beds are hard and bedding needs upgrading. Some of the bathrooms have issues. Everything was as expected and well communicated; the only shortfall was that towels and linen weren't changed as promised in the first week and we had to request the change. Otherwise it is an excellent location and very good accommodation. I would have preferred a pool table in th basement rather than a foosball table but I understand that it could be easily damaged.

This Villa is very tired and over-sold!

This property falsely claims to have air conditioning! It does not and never has had air conditioning! It does have portable cooling fans for each bedroom but elsewhere in the house there is no air conditioning! Otherwise the layout of the house is good but showing it’s age! For instance the safe in the Master Suite is non-functional. There are plenty of bathrooms but their decor is also showing its age. We needed 2 different plumber visits to deal with blocked drains caused by overgrown roots apparently. The property manager did address all our concerns promptly and well so thank you for that! But she cannot change the fact that this Villa which even today is being sold with air conditioning is not as advertised. We loved the area and noted that the Villa 2 further up from the beach was knocked down to the ground during our stay ready for re-building - good idea!
