A lovely first floor apartment located close to all amenities, and ideal for those wanting to explore the area.. Ground Floor:

The Old Quaker House Apartment is set over the first and second floors and is located in Llandrindod Wells just a few steps from the town centre. On the first floor is a large bathroom and an open plan living space with fabulous arched windows from which you can enjoy the view of the luscious green hills beyond the buildings opposite, living area with TV and Wi-Fi. There is no terrestrial TV or Freeview, but guests can log into their own Apps through the firestick or use the owner’s.
To the first floor there are two double bedrooms with exposed wooden beam features.
The property is just 8 miles from Builth Wells, home to the Royal Welsh Showground which hosts many events throughout the year. Visit the lakes in Llandrindod Wells, walk around the Rock Spa Park and enjoy the scenery. The National Cycle Museum in Llandrindod Wells is also well worth a visit. For those wanting to go further afield, then the Elan Valley is approximately 10 miles away, where there are plenty of walk and cycle trails to explore, along with fabulous dams. There are also a number of waterfalls to explore within a short drive. The Brecon Beacons have a wide variety of walks for all level of walkers and plenty of stunning views to take in and is just a 50-minute drive away. There are golf courses in Llandrindod Wells and Builth Wells, and horse riding is available within 10 miles. There are pubs, restaurants, and cafes within a quarter of a mile.

Setting up an account with Cottages.com was a nightmare so I could not access procedures for getting the key. I assumed details would come via Vrbo app but they didn’t. Cottages.com rarely answer the phone and their bot is rubbish. When they do answer their people are very good. Noisy main road with no window screens in bedrooms to shield noise and heat. No air con or fans - weather was very hot. Shower drain clogged constantly and shower head kept falling. No ignition for gas cooker. No dishwasher, no washing machine. No off-road parking.
