On either side of the old harbour, two award-winning beaches with golden sand are teeming with activity. Beautifully constructed promenades provide everything from amusement parks to peaceful nooks where you may sit and people-watch. An interesting contrast to life on the beach, where the most recent episode of Dad's Army was recorded, Bridlington's shops, sights, restaurants, and historic "Old Town" can be found there.
