As seen on Sophie Grigson 'A Slice of Italy', Trullo Tre Mondi is our family getaway - a stunning property nestled amidst olive and fruit trees in the countryside between Ostuni and Ceglie Messapica.
Set within a peaceful garden, Trullo Tre Mondi has a private pool and many sunny terraces for you to enjoy during your stay. It's the perfect place to explore Puglia with family or friends. It is owned by us, the Bell Family, who are from North Yorkshire in England. We have a wonderful dedicated team in Puglia who look after Tre Mondi and our guests during the season, David & Francesco are on hand if you have any questions during your stay.
The Trullo:
Trullo Suite: Queen sized bed with an en-suite shower room
The Trullo Room: Twin beds with a separate shower room
Cosy sitting room equipped with drinks fridge
The Lamia with its own private entrance:
Lamia Room 1: Queen size bed
Lamia Room 2: Twin Room or can be configured to Queen Bed
Shower room
Lamia has its own separate entrance
Glass Kitchen:
Large well equipped kitchen with plenty of space for your whole group to come together
The Trullo and Lamia are two separate spaces each with private entrances and so it might be unsuitable for families with younger children, the Glass Kitchen is situated across the terrace between the Trullo and Lamia.
Please note all linens are provided during your stay, if you are staying longer than 10 days then there is a complimentary clean and linen change. If you require extra cleaning or linens this is available upon request just ask David and Francesco. They can also arrange a cookery class or home chef during your stay.
If you are after some more space it is also sometimes possible to rent 'Terreno at Tre Mondi' which sleeps an additional two guests - a separate idyllic property set 100m away across a bridge with its own driveway entrance. Please note that 'Terren'o can be booked separately so it might not always be available. If let separately it does not have access to the swimming pool.
Looking with a smaller group?
We can sometimes accommodate smaller groups at Trullo Tre Mondi by shutting off The Lamia, so please get in touch if you'd like to discuss in more detail about how this works.
There is also the fantastic self-catered Trullo della Scrittrice (sleeps up to 4 guests) opposite which is owned and run by David & Francesco and is perfect for smaller groups.
How to get to Tre Mondi
Tre Mondi is situated half way between Ostuni and Ceglie Messapica, in a rural part of Puglia. Brindisi airport is the closest to Trullo Tre Mondi being only a 40-minute drive, we highly recommend that you hire a car during your stay as taxis are expensive and hard to come by. The next closest airport is Bari which is a 1.2 hour drive.
