On road parking; unloading at the door. No smoking. . Renovated in late 2022, Top House has been finished to a fantastic standard, and is located in the village of Tideswell. You have everything you need right in the village such as cafés, a chip shop, a number of pubs and a local supermarket all just a couple of minutes’ walk away. Upon arriving at Top House, you can pull up to empty your luggage before parking your car nearby where there is ample free parking available (there is no immediate parking outside). Enter into the porch where you can hang up your coat and kick off your shoes, and then a cosy living room with comfortable seating and a lovely open fire awaits you. Step into the kitchen, which has all the appliances and equipment you should need during your stay plus a breakfast bar, and there is a back door opening on to the outside space. Here you will find a bistro set is and an outhouse which offers a hose should you need to wash your boots or pet down.
Top House is Grade II listed and really is in a great central location for exploring all the Peak District has to offer. There are many walks to explore in the rolling Peak District hills as well as cycle routes. You are within a short drive of the nearest towns, Bakewell and Buxton, which offer great parks, shops, food spots and Buxton is also home to the opera house which has theatre shows on weekly. Castleton is located around 7 miles which offers a fun day exploring the caverns via boat or take a trip to Chatsworth House to soak up its history and beautifully kept gardens.
