We had a fine stay at this property. The place was clean and had the base basics. However, it was small for 4 people, it would be more comfortable for 2-3 people. For the price we paid after all the fees, I would have rather stayed at a hotel in a nicer part of town that had air conditioning and better shades. This area is as very run down and right around the corner there is a lot of open drug use, we didn’t feel unsafe, but it was very sad.

The suite is accurately described as a 550 sq. ft. home that comfortably accommodates up to three guests, with photos that reflect the layout. We understand that travelling with four people may feel more compact, which is why these details are provided in advance so guests can decide whether the space is the right fit. The listing also notes that the home does not have air conditioning, allowing guests to make an informed decision before booking. Our home is a licensed short-term rental in a residential Vancouver neighbourhood. Like many urban areas, Vancouver has visible social challenges in some communities. While experiences of any neighbourhood are personal, we're pleased you noted that you did not feel unsafe during your stay. We stayed from March 18th to 21st for a birthday trip. The central location was fantastic—easy access to SkyTrain and walkable. The pool, hot tub, and sauna were great, especially the 25m lap pool. Our daughter loved it. The gym was decent. However, the advertised “ocean view” was a disappointment—just a small sliver between buildings, not what we expected. Cleanliness was okay, but there was some dust, and towels could’ve been better. Overall, a solid stay for the location and amenities, though the view claim was misleading. I’d rate it about 3.5 stars.

Thank you for your review and the pictures shared. Yes, ocean views was selected as an option when I created the profile, but there was no option to clarify that it's a sliver of water, so thank you for doing so. All the pictures added onto my profile are accurate, be sure to review those and feel free to ask the owner to confirm should such items be highly preferred. Further, you may walk to these bodies of water within minutes - less than 10 minutes to the Seawall behind the building and about 20 minutes to Coal Harbour (Canada Place - you can see it from my building). I apologize for the dust -I keep my place extremely clean and tidy, but dust can still be in the air and with no air flow, it can settle. Finally, the towels. They are bath towels - you will see that on the tag. I do not provide long, thick towels as the laundry is done in house. It will take quite some time to dry and the cleaners cannot stay or come back to take the towels out and fold them and place in closet. I will look into microfiber towels that dry quicker and are to guest length satisfaction. Thank you again for your visit! Ps. Please be sure to unplug all appliances when leaving. Two cans were left turned on with the heat at 20 degrees.
