House in Villetoureix, Riberac, Aquitane, France - Situated on the edge of the village of Villetoureix surrounded by countryside. Wonderfully private.

Le Paillere (The Hayfield) is a great family house with a child friendly garden. It sleeps 12 (max 10 adults), in a beautiful 'Perigourdine' style chalet house which sits in the middle of a secluded south-facing 2 acre garden with private, fenced swimming pool.

There are 5 bedrooms in total. The 2 king-size bedrooms on the ground floor both have French doors that lead onto the patio and garden. The 3 large bedrooms on the first floor all have ceiling fans and are all en-suite: one is a king-size double with dressing area; one a twin with wooden cot; and the third has 2 single beds and a bunk bed. All 5 bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space, with clothes hangers provided. All the beds are comfortable, with top quality mattresses, and duvets & pillows made from hypoallergenic hollow fibre, suitable for people with allergies or asthma.

The large fully accessible ground floor bathroom has a corner bath, walk-in shower and WC, and is ideal for those that are less mobile.

There is a well equipped kitchen plus utility room, which contains everything you need to cater for a large group. This includes a range with 2 ovens, grill, and 7 hobs, plus a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, 2 fridges and a freezer compartment.

The open plan dining area has a large oak table that seats 10, and a lounge with log burning stove (for winter guests). Two sets of French doors give access to the terrace and gardens. There is also a separate study room for individual quiet time. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.

The large terrace/patio has a dining table which comfortably seats 12, along with rattan settees for relaxing. A charcoal BBQ is also available for use.

The location is wonderfully private and quiet, and yet just a few minutes to the Boulangerie. The property is situated on a hill in the small village of Villetoureix about 5 minutes from the market town of Riberac with a large Leclerc supermarket and all the usual shopping facilities. Brilliant market on Fridays with lots of fresh, locally grown fruit and veg.
