About this property

Ausone - modern and comfortable loft - terrace and parking space included

Come to visit Bordeaux on foot from this beautiful 90m2 apartment, with it's two separate bedrooms equiped with 160cm large beds, with a bathroom with both Italian shower and bath. The apartment was recently renovated by an architect, it is located in a small quiet street right in the heart of the historical center, on the ground floor of a old and beautiful building.

We provide a parking card for Salinières carpark, located just 200 meters away.
The apartment is very well furnished and fully equiped: LCD TV, Espresso machine, washing-machine, dryer, hairdryer, toaster…

You have all within walking distance: restaurants, tourist office, markets, monuments, tramway (30m from Porte Bourgogne and Place du Palais Stations), rental bikes (VCUB 1€/24 hours 30minutes free), train station to go to Arcachon (dune du Pyla or Saint-Emilion).

EXTRA CHARGES
Cleaning: Extra charge : done by a professional cleaner: 65€
Linen et towels rented from a laundry : 35€
(prepared bed, sheet, duvet cover, pillow cases, large towels, small towels, bath mat, dishcloths)

Comfortable and stylish apartment in the heart of Bordeaux

We enjoyed a comfortable time in this apartment that was convenient for exploring all the many attractions that Bordeaux offers. All the main sites were within easy walking distance.

Great location

This apartment has a very nice kitchen and living area. The bathroom is huge with a separate area for the shower and toilet area which is convenient if you are 4 people in the unit. The owner was helpful and easy to communicate with by cell. The apartment is easily accessible to the tram. It is in an area close to the fish market and in the lovely historical area of Bordeaux. The only downside of the unit is lack of ability to open up to any cross breeze since the unit is in the back of a building with a closed in courtyard style patio.

Gorgeous and spacious

This apartment is close to all the action and on a street where you are able to unload your luggage a few doors away and then you park a five minute drive to a secure parking garage (8 minute walk) where you are provided with a complimentary parking card. The apartment is so lovely and spacious with all you need. We only had one issue that I hope isn’t the case for others in the future - tenants or guests upstairs came in every night at around 3 am and until around 4:30 am played very loud middle eastern sounding music and sang and stomped the whole time. It was very frustrating and even after we yelled up to them from the courtyard they just shut their window and ignored us. We were exhausted the last two mornings to say the least. I hope the owners address this if the tenants upstairs are permanent but f they were short timers like us it shouldn’t be an issue in the future. Other than that we were thrilled with the place. Bordeaux is fabulous!

Appartamento grande, spazioso e modernamente arredato nel centro di Bordeaux.

Si tratta di un bell'appartamento nel centro di Bordeaux, modernamente arredato e vicino a tutte le principali attrazioni della città. Un elemento assai positivo è il fatto che il proprietario ci abbia lasciato il pass per la sosta gratuita della nostra vettura in uno dei parcheggi del centro e poco distante da casa. Eravamo in quattro e ci siamo trovati molto bene anche perché l'appartamento è silenzioso, confortevole e dotato di tutte le principali comodità. Se dovessi ritornare a Bordeaux non esiterei a prenotare di nuovo questa sistemazione che consente anche, nel caso si girasse per la città in bicicletta, di lasciarla parcheggiata e perfettamente al sicuro nell'androne del palazzo.

Great Locations and Amenities

The apartment is spotlessly clean and well-appointed. Fast Internet, full kitchen, wonderful walk-in shower and stackable washer/dryer. The outdoor space is a nice place for a picnic or a relaxing glass of wine. The apartment is very spacious and would easily hold 4 or more. The apatment is close to the tram, near the river promenade and close to shopping and many of the sites. Our host, Antoine, was very helpful pointing out the apartment amenities and letting us know the location of shopping and resturants.

Wonderful apartment with fantastic facilities

We spent a wonderful week in this very well equipped apartment in the centre of the city. The staff went out of their way to help us out of a serious predictament with our family whose original apartment booking was most unsuitable for children. Every query was answered with professionalism and curtesy. No problem was left unanswered. I can not recommend it enough! Thank you very much Antoine, Eneky and Laura for ensuring we had a wonderful holiday.

We spent a fantastic week in Bordeaux with this apartment as our base. The location is excellent and within easy walking distance to many of the great sites, markets, and restaurants of Bordeaux. The apartment was very spacious, well-appointed, and well supplied in the kitchen. We were travelling with our four-month old son and there was even a crib and baby bath for us to use. Antoine and Enika were incredibly helpful, from staying on the phone with us while we navigated Bordeaux's streets during our arrival, to Enika giving us a map with locations of bakeries, restaurants, and cafes pointed out. We tried out a number of her suggestions and all were great. Having parking was also very convenient for our day trips. Overall, we'd highly recommend and will stay here again if we return to Bordeaux.

Wonderful apartment tucked on a quiet side street (that looks not so great in the dark but is in perfectly great location). Pictures represent the apartment well. Steps to the tram stop and the train station. Garage is available BUT REQUIRES A VERY SMALL CAR and strong parking skills. :-) Antoine was great to work with. Space was clean and well-maintained and well equipped. Small outdoor seating area will be a bonus when finished/designed. Great base from which to do day trips countryside or to the shore. I have no hesitation in recommending this property.

"The apartment was perfec...

"The apartment was perfect, nice and luxury and me and my family spent a really good stay on it. We should have stayed longer!!. Everything was clean and the apartment included everything what is needed or even more. No noise at all and it is located closed to the river and on the city center. It includes a parking place for the car so you don´t have to worry about it because it is not needed to visit the city. And finally, I have to mention the great hospitality of the owner, he tried to do our stay as good as possible. In general, 10 out of 10 and I would recommend it to everybody."
