If you are seeking a peaceful retreat in an authentic and timeless Anglesey setting, then you'll love this pet-friendly accommodation for six guests.

The three-bedroom, one-story cottage has an old-world feel on the outside, occupying a headland spot with stunning sea, bay and coastline views.

Step inside, and you'll find a cosy modern interior, beautifully furnished with a host of comforts to ensure your stay is one to treasure.

Our team agrees that Bron Wendon is an excellent choice for relaxing with family and friend; a definite winner for cosy Christmas and New Year getaways.

What's more, the accommodation is set over a single storey, making it ideal for guests who have difficulty with stairs.

Enter the cottage into a beautiful and bright open-plan lounge and dining room with gorgeous wood flooring and a vaulted ceiling.

A large L-shaped sofa is positioned in front of the Inglenook multi-fuel stove, perfect for autumn-winter stays. All of the windows and doors are double-glazed and there is central heating throughout for extra cosiness.

To the rear of the lounge, there is a formal dining table that comfortably seats six guests.

Leading off to the side of the lounge there is a separate seating area that follows through into the kitchen. It's a great spot for the kids to take over as their gaming space. If they can raise their heads from their iPads they'll be able to enjoy the sweeping coastal views from the patio doors!

Continue through into the kitchen with its breakfast bar and stools. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare family meals, picnics, BBQs, including an integral oven and hob and plenty of workspace between the island and breakfast bar so that you can share the chores over a glass of wine with friends or family.

Off the kitchen, you find a small utility room that features a washing machine, tumble dryer and a guest cloakroom is also situated here.

A terrace with views

From the lounge, small lounge and kitchen, there are French doors leading out to a pretty wood decked terrace with seating, where you can enjoy the mesmerising views across the fields to the coast. Imagine the sunsets you'll experience from Bron Wendon's terrace!

Sleeping arrangements

There are three ample bedrooms set to the back of the property. They feature wood laminate flooring and enjoy lovely views.

The master double bedroom has a French door leading out to the parking area. There is a further double bedroom and a twin bedroom.

Cemaes Bay

Set on the northern coast of Anglesey, in an area of outstanding natural beauty is the picturesque village of Cemaes Bay.

This is a truly relaxing area of North Wales, part-owned by the National Trust, this once ancient fishing village is now an ideal destination if you are seeking a peaceful and authentic beach holiday.

Small and relaxed it might be, but Cemaes Bay is renowned for its excellent lobster catch, which is shipped around the world.

The village itself provides good amenities, including a handful of shops on the high street, two dog-friendly inns, an award-winning fish and chip shop, plus cafes, a deli and a restaurant.

The natural sheltered harbour was once the centre of this ancient settlement and a prime spot for smuggling and piracy… shiver me timbers!

Nowadays, you'll find little fishing boats bobbing up and down on the glittering Irish Sea and from here you can take a fishing or boat trip and explore the surrounding coastline.

Next to the harbour, you'll find rock pools. Perfect for little maritime explorers!

There are two beaches at Cemaes Bay, which are separated by the harbour. Traeth Mawr (Big Beach) and Traeth Bach (Little Beach) and there are rock pools close to the harbour, where you're little maritime adventurers or pirates can explore to their heart's content.

There are plenty of water sports activities around Cemaes Bay, such as kayaking, windsurfing and sailing. And you'll find toilet facilities and cafes close to hand.

Heading away from Cemaes Bay, you'll come across deserted beaches backed by soaring cliff tops and coastal paths to be explored. Soak up the incredible scenery of this outstanding area of Anglesey.

To the east, you'll find Porth Padrig beach, which is overshadowed by a large quartz rock known as The White Lady. You'll also find Llanbadrig church here, which is said to be where St Patrick was shipwrecked and then founded the church.

The Dalai Lama once visited the area, sat on the wooden bench next to the church and declared it to be the ‘most peaceful place on the earth'. We invite you to visit and let us know if you agree!

Short walking break
The property is very clean and comfortable and warm to stay in. We have stayed here before and would stay here again, however it is let down by a few housekeeping and maintenance points. First off the windows in the kitchen and the glass balustrade outside were very dirty limiting/spoiling the lovely view. There was a smell of sewage from the bathroom on occasions for no apparent reason requiring the extractor to be left on for long periods. We put this down to a plumbing/drains problem.

The most stunning view
We holiday on Anglesey several times a year and this was our first stay in Bron Wendon. On arrival, the views from the garden took our breath away. Many hours were spent gazing out the window! The cottage was beautiful, well equipped and comfortable. And very quiet and peaceful too. The beach a short walk away (although a slopped access road to walk for those with poor mobility) Very slight niggle would be the double bed sizes if you are used to a king sized bed (the rooms are very spacious though and the beds are comfy!) and the WiFi can be a bit hit and miss but its a great excuse to turn off the tv and devices and enjoy the view! Would love to return soon, thank you for the stay in your beautiful cottage

Beautiful property we didn’t want to leave
Such a beautiful property and the views are to die for. We loved looking out to see and using the handily provided binoculars. Easy walking distance to shop, pub and highly recommend the Bay View restaurant about 20 minutes walk away. The house is very cosy and comfortable and had everything we needed for cooking with quality appliances. The small bathroom needed a little TLC but otherwise the house is in excellent condition. Only slight snag was the WiFi was very slow. Yes it’s a great place to switch off from the world but with two children this is easier said than done, so improved WiFi would have made this a perfect experience.

A gem of a property overlooking Cemaes bay
an ideal property for exploring around North Anglesey and coastal walks. Dog friendly and VERY cosy property with views over the bay from the extended kitchen/diner room. 3 lovely bedrooms/ 1 fabulous bathroom. Very well appointed and lovely lounge area. Wifi needs some improvement if you want to watch Netflix/Prime/ . Will return in summer/ springtime to see the area outside of Xmas-time

Beautiful home
Stunning location, breathtaking views, most relaxing stay, beautifully well thought out home with everything you need, only regret hadn't booked for longer. Some issues with the patio door we called housekeeping, and the problem was rectified very prompting friendly, helpful service. We will definitely be back.
