Thanks so much Frank. It was a pleasure having you, and I was so touched by how clean you left the house. C
This charmingly little cottage has been painstakingly renovated and modernised and made a welcoming base for four days of exploration. The host has thought of everything--comfortable beds, wood-burning stoves (two of them!), a great shower, even fresh vegetables for the picking. We loved it and hope to return.

Thank you Kath, for your lovely review. It’s always a pleasure having people who ‘get’ it. Hope to see you again some day. Catherine
We had a fantastic stay at Croft 11. The view from the kitchen and bedrooms is beautiful. The croft is wonderfully renovated and had everything we needed. Catherine is a great host who answered all our questions and provided good suggestions for activities in the area. We have done a lot of vacation rentals and this is easily one of the best we have every stayed at. We would definitely stay again!

Thank you Chris. I’m so glad the house performed even though the weather didn’t. I hope I see you all again one day. Catherine
This cottage and the surrounding farm, loch, and community were by far the highlight and favorite of our trip. When you take decorating inspirations home with you you know you are in a great place.
We traveled from California through Edinburgh, Fort Williams, Skye, and St Andrews and enjoyed the uniqueness of every spot, but this home is the one I plan to return to on our next trip!

How lovely! Thank you so much. The pleasure was entirely mutual!
Perfect rental in all points. We are used to several platforms for regularly renting houses and flats during our trips. This one was definitely our best experience. Surrounding, view, quiet place, very nicely decorated, the owner very helpful, close to many sightseeings. Don't hesitate a minute and enjoy your stay in west Highlands !

We truly felt at home from the moment we arrived. This accommodation is absolutely recommendable. Thank you so much for everything, dear Catherine!Love, Judith and family

This is just so lovely, and makes me very happy. I miss you all. C
We (three adults and a baby) had the best time staying in Catherine’s croft house in Clovullin. The house itself is beautiful, well decorated, well furnished, and with relatively new appliances. On top of that, the location in Clovullin is special, with views of the neighboring farms, loch, and mountains. Catherine was a great and responsive host too. Not much more we could ask for.

We had a great time in this beautifully decorated home away from home!
It was a joy to return to after a day of walking, it has lots of cosy spaces to relax, with great views! Great rainshower, very well equipped kitchen and comfortable good size bedrooms. Everything very fresh and clean. On arrival there were flowers from the garden and a basket with goodies on the kitchentable, thank you Catherine for this lovely welcome and a great stay! Hello Sandra, I am so happy you enjoyed your stay, that means everything to me. And when I walked in yesterday I had to pinch myself that you’d actually been at all, so clean and tidy was the house. That’s the greatest gift I could receive; thank you, and love to all.
A beautifully refurbished croft in a tranquil environment with fantastic views across the loch. We spent a very enjoyable week exploring the beautiful scenery that characterises this part of the world. It was lovely to come back to a home away from home each evening. The property is very well equipped, tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. The owner, Catherine, was extremely welcoming upon arrival and very helpful throughout our stay. We'll take away very happy memories of our stay.

Catherine has thought of everything that makes a holiday stay perfect for us. The cosy inside is everything her photographs promise and more. Every window frames a spectacular view. There are easily accessible local walks along the loch shore and inland. It is well placed for further forays, so we will have to come back. This cottage has blasted its way to top of my favourite ever stays!

This was by far the most beautiful cottage we’ve ever stayed in, so tastefully decorated with such thought and care and with such quality materials. The view from the kitchen is to die for and the landscape in the surrounding area stunning. The pictures just don’t do the place justice! Catherine was an amazing host, provided us with so much useful info before we even arrived. Would’ve loved to rent the place for an entire year! We look forward to coming back again one day.

This means so much to me Nathan; thank you for being such delightful guests, and for appreciating the Croft. I really hope to see you all again one day. Happy travelling. C
This property was the most beautiful on our trip. It is set in a gorgeous little village that has wonderful views on both sides of the house. On one side you look out over the loch and up to mountains. There is peace and tranquility surrounding you.
The house itself is perfect- a lovely mix of contemporary pieces that are unique and say a lot about the owner.
Everything you could ever need is in this home.
I would highly recommend staying in this gorgeous part of the world in a truly wonderful house.
We have been in The Croft 11 for one week during Pentecost with our family and it was a fantastic place to stay.
We felt really home in an instant. The house is perfectly designed with a lot of love into every single detail. Beside the outstanding design we didn’t miss anything and the house is perfectly located for trips to the West-coast, Isle of Skye or the highlands.
It’s a perfect 10!
I can recommend it to a 100% and Catherine is such a warm hearted and supportive host.
We’ll come back for sure and once again thank you Catherine for an amazing time at your Croft 11

Thank you Timm, for your love and appreciation of the Croft. Nothing could give me more pleasure! Besides, it was so rewarding getting to know you all. Your kids are the best, and Moby is missing them. Thank you also for the flowers and the note, and for leaving the house so clean and tidy. I hope our paths cross again, as I miss you all. C
The Croft house was an absolute dream. We had everything (and more) that we needed. Catherine is a wonderful host and was available for any questions and made sure we were not lacking for anything. The house is a beautiful setup and the surroundings are magnificent. We enjoyed the highland views, animals rotating on the properties and the beautiful mature garden, all while having comforts like plush towels, a blender, and WiFi (amongst other things). We lit fires on chilly nights and it was wonderful. I would return in a heartbeat!

WOW!!!! Catherine’s place was 10/10. The property was beautiful, the house was lovely, and so was Catherine.
We’ve been travelling the UK for over a month now and this was our favourite stay. The house was tastefully decorated, cozy and clean - overall just stunning. It also had all the amenities we could have possibly needed. Catherine was extremely kind and informative. The area offered plenty of activities and was a must-see in Scotland. I would absolutely stay at her place again, and would look forwards to it. Thanks again Catherine!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Catherine’s house is beautiful, cozy, and spotless. The views from the property are amazing in every direction. The kitchen has everything you could need and we really enjoyed cooking while enjoying the view. The beds are very comfortable and temperature control was easy. The WiFi was also very good. We felt a little unsure about the location when we booked but we ended up loving it. The Corran ferry is extremely easy; the longest we ever waited was probably 10-15 minutes and it runs until around 9:30pm, so we were able to easily explore the Glencoe/Fort William area. There is also plenty to do on the Ardgour side including wonderful walks right from the house. Catherine herself is also fantastic - very friendly and helpful. It was hard to leave this place - we want to come back!

Catherine’s beautiful Croft house is a little slice of tranquil magic alongside Loch Linnhe. It’s perfectly located to explore the Glencoe, Fort William region via the short 5min Corran ferry (though we also recommend exploring the local Ardgour area, as it is equally stunning and is way less busy). Being on the other side of the loch also means it’s much more peaceful. The house itself has been renovated to an incredibly high standard, its warm, comfortable, and is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, not to mention the stunning views from both the front and back of the property. Catherine was a fantastic host, great communication and provided a number of helpful recommendations, including the local brewery where we saw in the New Year with the local community, which was incredibly special. We’ll definitely be returning
We loved our stay at this picturesque cottage. Catherine made us feel very welcome and the house was clean and beautifully decorated. The beds are very comfortable, the shower was tall enough for my husband who is 6'3, had good pressure and plenty of hot water. The kitchen is adorable and has everything to cook your own meals. The views were breathtaking. She even has a washing machine and a rack to dry on which was helpful. The location feels remote and quiet but is only a quaint 5 min ferry ride and a short drive to both Glencoe and Ft. William with lots of hiking, restaurants, pubs, and grocery stores.
We absolutely loved coming back at night and sitting around the fire reading on one of the comfy couches and playing scrabble. We would definitely come back and stay here on our next visit to the Highlands! Thank you Catherine!

Thanks so much Kate. You ‘got’ it, and I love that. And thank you for the Prosecco; what a nice touch. I hope you will come back one day, when I have enough home-grown produce to leave you basketfuls!
Absolutely stunning! This cottage has been renovated to perfection. Catherine's passion has shown through in every detail both modern and historic. This cottage feels like home tucked quietly away from it all. Catherine has selected high end modern appliances and accessories to make one feel as if they are staying at a 5 star hotel. The views are breath taking from every window inside. Catherine was extremely helpful in helping navigate the location, food and hikes. Trust her opinion, she never steered us wrong. Despite the local ferry being out of commission, we were enamored with the local hikes, restaurants and scenery making the extra driving time seem insignificant. We loved every minute there and we look forward to seeking the opportunity to return to this hidden gem!

This means the world to me; thank you so much. I loved having you both and really hope to meet you again one day. Joe will be interested to know that the son of the next guests climbed the North face of Ben Nevis! Glad he didn’t tell me ahead of doing it!!!! All the very best to you both. C
My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Catherine's property in Ardgour and we hope to come back again. The crofter's cottage was immaculate and equipped with everything you need to be comfortable. Upon arrival, Catherine provided us with a bottle of wine, eggs, cheese, bread and jams. She was a wonderful host - friendly and inviting.
The property itself has been recently renovated and it feels like home as soon as you walk in. Catherine has a beautiful garden with views of the sea. It's incredibly private and peaceful.
Ardgour was a great jumping off location for us - hiking in Glencoe, Ben Nevis, local trails walking distance to the cottage, Fort William, local brewery, and coastal towns. Try the fish pie at the inn down the street. Be aware the easiest way to reach the cottage is by ferry and it costs 10 pounds one way.
10/10 you must stay here.

Thank you so much Jenn. It was a pleasure having you and Jonathan, and I hope you will both come back one day.
Our stay at Croft 11 with Catherine as host was the best part about our trip to Scotland. We stayed in 3 different places and we wish we could have spent the entire time at this beautifully renovated, warm and cozy, charmingly and thoughtfully appointed croft on the West Coast of this amazing country.
Catherine literally thought of everything you could possibly need at a holiday home. From a spare charger to a lovely book selection, large fluffy towels with the best towel warmer ever, comfortable beds, warm throw blankets, comfortable places to sit in front of the fire and read at night (or all day)....it was just perfect.
I also can't say enough good things about Catherine. She was the perfect host - checked in on us but also left us to ourselves, offered to dry our clothes (there is a great washer but the dryer is on order) and even folded them!! We were traveling with our toddler so he goes through clothes quickly and Catherine was the nicest and most understanding person. I feel like we made a friend!
Stay here. Enjoy the ferry, the small brewery, the wonderful food at the Inn, and just being at peace in a beautiful space.

What perfect and thoughtful comments Sarah, I am really touched. The loveliest thing about letting the house has been meeting the people who come. Each and every one has been wonderful, and it makes me so happy. I hope I meet you again. Meanwhile, much love, Catherine
We had a wonderful stay at Croft 11! The house is very spacious, cozy, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, with top notch facilities. The views of the loch and mountains from the kitchen, with its large, wide windows, and from the master bedroom are spectacular. The extra large beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of tableware and everything you’d need to do serious cooking. Catherine was extraordinarily kind and helpful. Before our stay, she sent us a helpful information packet. As we were driving up, she kept watch on the ferry to make sure we’d be able to cross. We were greeted with a generous welcome basket (wine, bread, eggs, butter, marmalade, shortbread) and vases of fresh flowers from the croft garden. After we arrived, Catherine came over to show us how everything worked and gave us lots of great tips for things to do and places to eat. She stayed in touch during the week, checking to see if everything was ok, and she responded quickly to all our questions. She even posted some electronics we’d left behind!
