The house was clean and very comfortable. Nice kitchen. A nice walking path nearby. We were able to walk to a nearby cafe with good breakfast and great baked goods. There was also a lovely walk nearby along the sheep pastures (many cute lambs) to Black castle. Willy took us out to see the Highland cows and the view from the top of the hill was spectacular!
A lovely warm clean house well equipped and ideal location to explore the area. Amanda was easy to contact and always responded quickly. A real highligjt wad a tour of the farm and the herd of Highland coos and Galaways, thank you Willie. We would love to return and would wholeheartedly recommend.
A cosy cottage with highland cows at your doorstep and an introduction to them from Willie. Well located for Oban (20 minutes) and also Fort William (45 minutes). Picturesque loch across the road.
It's a really lovely cottage. Fully equipped with kitchen utensils, appliances, making it very easy to live normally and not worrying about cooking or storing food. Great spacious rooms-the mattresses were very comfortable. If you travel with children they offer a baby cot and highchair as well.Fireplace is well maintained, we had wood prepared with the matches and fire starter cubes. Really stress free.Outdoor location is fab, as you can use the public footpath nearby to see the beach and village nearby or go up the hill. There are many Highlands cows up the hill or in the building nearby. You just need a good company, some nice shortbread and you can relax in front of the fireplace. Until next time
Wonderful cottage stay for my family. It was the perfect location, a very well equipped home, and so cozy! My 2 boys, aged 8 and 10, loved the cows and the hills to explore. The back patio was a great place to relax with such beautiful surroundings. We hope to return one day!
What an absolutely wonderful place to stay. We had a lovely few days away and it was certainly capped off by the lovely farm that we stayed at. Thank you to Amanda who kept in contact throughout and was very helpful. All in all a brilliant place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone.Neil
We loved this comfortable cottage. The beds were comfy and firm. We walked up the back pasture, passed the sweet cows way up to the top of the hill for a beautiful view. My kids also got a tour of the farm from Willie. This was a nice treat. Thank you for sharing this home with us.
The house had everything we needed, and the location on a working farm was incredibly beautiful. The location was great for our daily excursions to see the sights.
Had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was clean, comfortable, and in an absolutely beautiful setting! Plenty of room for my family to spread out and the kids were charmed by the farm setting.
We had a super cozy stay. There was lots to do nearby—castles, island tours, farm tour, walking up the mountain.
The house had everything we needed, kitchen all kitted out, washer/dryer, tvs, comfortable beds. The host was very helpful.
The home and property is beautiful, clean and affordable! Everything you could possibly need is available from kitchen gadgets to shampoo and body wash.
Thank you for providing a perfect holiday home for our family to enjoy while visiting Scotland.
What a lovely location! What an opportunity to experience the Highland Cow up close and personal.
The accommodations felt like home. An excellent experience!
We stayed here for a few days while checking out the Oban area. The home was secluded and quiet. It had everything we needed. We enjoyed seeing the cows and talking to the farmer.
This cottage is in a quiet peaceful location that is close enough to Oban to be convenient, but far enough to be away from the hustle of the town center. Communication with Amanda was easy, and she even contacted us after checkin, to be sure everything was ok. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay near Oban.
Wonderful base camp to explore the beauty of the area
The cottage was a wonderful and relaxing spot for our family as we explored the region. We are animal and nature lovers so were thrilled at the proximity to the lochs, the isles, Glencoe, the trail behind the cottage to walk up the hill and, of course, the spectacular cows at the farm. The kitchen is large and well stocked for cooking. The house was cozy and quiet. We hated to leave.
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this quaint cottage on a beautiful farm, with amazing scenery from the top of the farm. The home was comfortable,.clean, with plenty of amenities. Amanda was very helpful, and quick to communicate. We would definitely stay here again!
We had a wonderful stay in this perfectly equipped holiday home. We enjoyed our stay and as the property is ideally located we were able to explore the Oban area. All of the appliances in the house are described in great detail, leaving no questions unanswered, and the tips Amanda gave were more than welcome.
The home is very clean and well furnished. We enjoyed the physical structure, but also the ideal location that is close to Oban and other areas that allowed us to relax most of the time. The farm setting was peaceful and refreshing from city life. The hosts were were very friendly and welcoming. I would enjoy staying at this property again in the future.
