About this property
Three Peaks - a bungalow that sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms
Entering the property you will find yourself in the inviting spacious hallway, where there is plenty of space to store your coats and boots. There are two beautifully decorated bedrooms off the hallway. The master bedroom is at the front and includes a king-size divan bed with high quality mattress and luxury crisp white bed linen. There are phenomenal views from the large picture window where you could easily spend time relaxing gazing over the fells. This bedroom also has a brand new ensuite shower room.
Behind the master bedroom is another pretty bedroom with two single beds (beds can be made up as super-king size for a small fee)
The luxury newly refurbished bathroom is next to the twin bedroom, and makes a calming place to soak tired muscles after a busy day of exploring!
If you're planning to cook and dine in during your holiday you will not be disappointed with the kitchen/diner! The cupboards are well stocked with plenty of cookware, glasses and crockery. There is plenty of cupboard and worktop space, along with modern appliances including a full size fridge-freezer, dishwasher, electric hob and oven, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. The dining table comfortably seats 6 guests so you can gather with friends and family to enjoy a delicious meal which you recount the days adventures, and plan the next!
Through the kitchen there is another spacious bedroom with a king size bed and plenty of storage space, along with another shower room.
The living room makes a lovely place to relax during the day with plenty of light, or unwind there in the evening enjoying your favourite programme on the smart TV. The breath-taking views are undoubtedly the showstopper here, but the room is again tastefully decorated with two comfortable quality fabric sofas, an easy chair and some unique artwork/lighting which collectively make this a great space to enjoy.
Moving outside, the well-maintained garden space at the back includes a patio area with table seating perfect for gathering to enjoy al-fresco dining. The garden does extend beyond the patio, although this area should be explored with caution due to the steepness, with steps up to a further paved area (there are some chairs there to rest your legs after the hike!) and a pretty meadow area behind. It is worth heading up there if you can for the amazing views!
The property has been put together with great care and attention to detail, while keeping comfort and practicalities at the forefront to ensure an amazing holiday that will not disappoint.
Guests will not need to worry about where to leave their car as there is private parking for two cars (one space is inside the garage - better suited to a smaller car). There are several steps up from the parking area to the entrance.
Complimentary WiFi is provided for guests
Being next door to Rock Lynn may prove ideal for two families wishing to holiday together in this popular village location. The house is an amazing base for families to spend time making wonderful new memories, but the layout, flexible bed configuration, and bedroom to bathroom ratio also lends itself well to walkers, friends or three couples.
It would be easy to park up and enjoy a jam-packed car-free holiday. Braithwaite amenities include three lovely pubs serving food and local ales, village shop and a tea room. Theres nearby Whinlatter Forest along with a huge selection of walks and outdoor activities to choose from, a nearby bus stop with routes taking you all over the Lake District, and Keswick town centre only minutes away.
