The property was a gem although not for the faint of heart with the climbs. The apartment was a touch small but functional. The garden was exceptional and a great place to hang out for drinks and food.Robyn was a super host with great welcome gifts !!!
Lovely cottage in beautiful garden. Great location in Dinan and a warm welcome from Robyn the owner . Comfortable and everything you need to make your stay enjoyable . Highly recommend and will hopefully return in the future .
We stayed in Dinan for the Medieval Festival des Ramparts. Jasmine Cottage is a delightful place, close to the medieval ramparts and on the historic road joining the port to the town centre. The cottage is small but well equipped with not one, but two beautiful gardens to relax in. Our generous hosts Robyn and Ross, couldn’t have been kinder. Be warned, it is on a very steep hill, but there couldn’t be a better place to get into the Medieval festival vibe.
Absolutely fantastic short break, Robyn was the perfect host, meeting, greeting and explaining.
Accommodation was perfect for us and the garden was just magical, lovely to sit and relax with our complimentary bottle of rose’ and home made raspberry muffins what a treat.
We will absolutely be back.

Thank you so much for your great review,so did enjoy you staying with us and look forward to seeing you again, have your fridge magnets put aside,
Romantic retreat in a secret garden. Set against the backdrop of the medieval walled town of Dinan, this little cottage charms you from the moment you enter the sgarden hidden behind a plain grey door. It’s the perfect place for a couple, with a cozy sitting room, well-equipped kitchen (with an actual teapot!) and beautiful bedroom upstairs with whitewashed walls and a large, very comfortable bed. Lovely furnishings and thoughtful touches. Robyn is the perfect host and we could have stayed for a month. The garden itself is spectacular and the perfect place for breakfast with a view of old rooftops or an evening glass of wine. We can’t say enough good things about this very special place. A huge thanks for making our stay in Dinan a time to be long treasured.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review, did so enjoy meeting you both.
Cheers

We had a small problem finding it ( our incompetence ), but then we entered a little paradise. The first two days we did not want to leave the garden(s) and relaxed. Robin was a very nice hostess providing us with all the necessary information about the surroundings. It was always nice to talk to her.
Dinan: beautiful, great castle (we learned a lot about the medieval age), nice walks along the riverside, not far to St. Malo, Dinard (all by Train).
All in all: we had a wonderful time!

Wonderful little cottage in the garden
Lovely accommodation in the cottage . We were upgraded to Albertine , small but all you’d need and beautiful garden setting over 2 levels . Lovely warm generous host Robyn , friendly and informative and Molly her dog was a bonus - so cute. Close to shops and restaurants although a bit steep climb up the hill to get there . Lounge room was cosy and warm with cushions and rugs provided by Robyn, TV had lots of stations we could access too. Hit our head on the beams a few times , not used to those as we don’t have rooms in the attic space in Australia but we soon learnt to duck. Close to the seaside towns of Dinard and St Malo which are lovely . The only negative was the double bed , small and we rolled towards each other into the middle all the time . Would recommend this lovely accommodation in the area to all .

Thank you Julie and Graeme,
I enjoyed meeting you as did Molly dog who sends you kisses
Cozy small apartment with access to a beautiful large garden. Our host, Robyn, was welcoming, even providing home-made muffins and delicious raspberry jam. It is important to know that the Jasmine apartment, where we stayed, is very small indeed. The low eaves in the bedroom were a problem; we kept banging our heads. There is a kitchen corner with microwave and two small burners, but no counter space; it is not set up for cooking a meal, which is fine if you're eating out. There is no laundry machine. When we arrived the apartment smelled a bit musty, and we got rid of about a dozen spiders the first night. That said, it is a cozy little apartment in a characteristic old cottage on a charming (and steep!) historic street with the river and several great creperies just minutes away. Once we adjusted to the space we enjoyed our stay, and the garden was a treat.

Gorgeous!!!
We had the most lovely week in Dinan. We originally booked to stay in Albertine, but this was not available at the time of booking, so we stayed in Yasmin, although compact the space has been utilised very well, and to be fair we didn't really need any more space!
Robyn is a wonderful host, the finishing touches, and the added extras that she provided, confirms that she is a lovely warm person, who goes that extra mile. I particually became very attached to Molly, the resident cockerpoo. She was a fussy, loving little thing, I miss hearing her scampering paws!
Dinan is a lovely little town, lots of shops and bars and lovely restaurants for every tastes. The cobbled uphill/downhill street was a little hard work at the end of the night, after a few bottles of wine! (which we used as our reward!)
After we left Dinan, we had a week in Honfleur, and we were pining for our little secret garden and Molly cuddles!
Thank you Robyn, Ross and Molly for a perfect week, in your perfect little cottage. We will be back.

Thanks for a wonderful review, just one thing the cottage is named Jasmine not Yasmin!!!
