Located inside the original Roman city, Alemanys 5 is a unique property whose main building dates from the sixteenth century. Its restoration integrates old and new, with sober, clean lines that celebrate essential elements such as space, light, shade, fire, stone, water, nature and silence.

The Alemanys 5 house can be rented as a single large home (5 bedrooms), but it can also be divided into two independent apartments: El Badiu (3 bedrooms) and El Jardí (2 bedrooms).

Gorgeous historical property in the heart of Girona. Montse, the property manager, was very helpful, gave great recommendations for exploring the area and practical advice (supermarket locations) Would love to stay there again.

Astonishing Apartment in Girona Old Town

I will rate this apartment as the best VRBO that I have rented this far. Amazing apartment with a very good taste. Anna did a fantastic job designing it. Restaurants and Must See places are all at walking distance. Le Jardin had a pool that the family enjoyed too. Sita is also a fantastic manager that is always available to help you with any questions you have. We had the opportunity to meet the owners too. Wonderful people that shared a bit more of the history of the place. Pictures of the property are not giving enough credit to how beautiful this apartment is. Overall rate 11 out of 10. Looking forward to visiting Alemanys 5 in the future. Best regards, Andres

Dear Juan ... thank you for entrusting us with your wonderful house .... we totally enjoyed our stay in Girona because of it. It was a lovely sanctuary to return to after exploring Girona each day. Awesome Location & Fabulous Accommodations

We stayed here for 3 nights, but wish we could of stayed longer. Everything was absolutely perfect! Girona is a quaint little town and having this modern yet unique apartment in old town added to our experience. Sita was so welcoming and answered all our questions. Thank you. We would highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again!!

incredibly stylish and comfortable apartment in a beautiful setting

we spent a week in 'el jardin' apartment and found our every need catered for. We were met on arrival and informed of all of the amenities. The apartment was in the old town in a perfect location close to the cathedral but away from the main tourist streets. All rooms offered air conditioning and fans and the master bedroom opened up to the terrace. The apartment was quiet and spacious and contained everything you might need for a holiday. The highlight was the rain water pool which is so unusual for a city apartment. After a day of sightseeing it was incredibly refreshing to cool down in the pool which is actually bigger than the depiction in the photos. We couldn't recommend this apartment enough and will certainly be back as Gerona is a fabulous city.

Fabulous in every way...

I stayed in the El Jardi apartment for 4 nights and my only regret is that I had to leave! What a work of art! The details abound everywhere. At the same time, it could not have been more comfortable. Everything you needed was there... A well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels and comfortable beds with lovely bedding... And plenty of storage for all your belongings. This is a well run and very professional team. It is located just around the corner from the Cathedral, so you need to be able to climb the old maze of stone steps to get "home" each day. You can do it, just stop along the way for a drink or just to pause if necessary... believe me it is a charming walk and more than worth the heightened heart rate! I have only one regret and that is that I had to say goodbye to Montse, Alemanys5 and beautiful Girona... Thank you, Juan Miguel and Anna for providing me this beautiful memory.

Fabulous everything

Everything about this property was perfect for us and our two teenagers. Location, decor, facilities. We loved being able to walk everywhere for sightseeing and pop back to the delightful walled garden for a rest and a dip to cool down. We re already planning our next visit. Highly recommended.

Amazing Apartment - Amazing City

I had a lovely stay in Girona, its a wonderful city. We travelled to the coast one day and also to Figures for the Dali museum which was wonderful. I have been to Barcelona but I do prefer the relaxed atmosphere in Girona. It has lovely shops, lots of culture and very friendly people. The old part of the city is spectacular with its lovely streets and ancient architecture. As for your apartment, what can I say other than it was the most fantastic apartment in a superb location. I am very much into design and I must say Anna has designed a beautiful home and I am very jealous not to have such a wonderful home in Ireland! It was a pleasure to stay in and it had everything I could ask for, a well stocked kitchen, ipod dock, TV & DVD, wifi, great mood lighting, very comfortable bed and a lift for shopping! I want to thank you for letting me stay in your property and enjoy Girona. Myself and my girlfriend wish to return again (possibly for a weekend break at the start of next year as she wants to go shopping) so I will be in touch as I feel that your apartment has much more to offer than a hotel. I am more than delighted to recommend your apartment to anyone wishing to visit Girona and surrounding area. You were excellent with communication before and after so once again thank you for all your help.

Magnifique appartement très bien situé.

Cet appartement est tout simplement magnifique. Nous louons régulièrement des appartements en Europe et celui-ci a été notre coup de cœur. La description de l’appartement et les photos décrivent très bien l’appartement qui était très propre et très bien équipé. La piscine et le jardin offre un espace supplémentaire pour se détendre et profiter de l’extérieur en toute quiétude. L’appartement est très bien situé puisqu’il se situe à proximité de plusieurs restaurants, cafés, magasins et jardins. Nous avons adoré sortir tous les soirs sans devoir prendre la voiture. L’accueil est chaleureux, les propriétaires parlent très bien français et sont faciles à rejoindre. Nous recommandons cet appartement sans hésitation.

Stunning apartment in a charming city

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful apartment. The decor was simply stunning, I never thought that stone, concrete & wood could be so comfortable. It is very spacious and has every appliance and comfort you could want. We were traveling with a young baby and it fully catered for our needs. The location of the apartment is just perfect and it is fair to say that it was the highlight of our stay in Girona. The owner was exceedingly helpful prior to our arrival promptly responding to our emails. The agent who greeted us was friendly and gave us all the information we needed. We would happily recommend this property to friends and family and we intend on returning.

ha sido una estancia muy agradable y muy confortable, estaba todo super cuidado y de una belleza muy exclusiva, el lugar donde está situado es muy céntrico y muy accesible a todas partes, como tiene parking privado, no te tienes que preocupar de no encontrar aparcamiento, el jardin y la piscina es precioso, yo estoy completamente segura que volveré a repetir, y espero y deseo que no sea muy tarde, este invierno iremos al piso de arriba, que es espectacular y muy acogedor. Estoy deseando volver al mismo sitio de vacaciones. Le doy la máxima puntuación 100 estrellas. Gracias por todo.
