Keurig appartement met heerlijk zwembad en vlakbij het strand

Het appartement was van alle gemakken voorzien en zowel met lekker zwembad als vlakbij het strand. Vooral Giuseppe was een superfijne en behulpzame host . Heeft ons geholpen met huren van een auto want die heb je echt wel nodig ! En heeft ons opgehaald en weggebracht van en naar het vliegveld . Echt een superfijne en relaxte vakantie gehad met z’n vieren !

Estuvimos muy a gusto

El apartamento es como un oasis en medio del desierto. Disfrutamos mucho de la piscina y también de la playa. Las playas de la zona son de piedrecitas por lo que conviene llevar escarpines. Visitamos desde Siracusa hasta Taormina. Lo único que en Mascali, dónde se ubica el apartamento, no hay un lugar agradable para pasear con los niños, pero tiene lo imprescindible y hay un Lidl a pocos minutos en coche. El apartamento estaba muy bien, como en las fotos y la chica que nos atendió fue muy amable.

Late summer in Sicily

Overall we were impressed with the property. It’s in two parts really. As there was only two of us space wasn’t an issue. The apartment itself was very clean and being on the first floor had a lovely aspect over the garden and pool. The bathroom was nice and the bedrooms were too. The air con worked well in one bedroom but was positively freezer like in the second. The front aspect of the place is very nice, lovely gardens and good pool. The whole block however seems to be split into two bits. The four front apartments in the good bit with access to the pool but to the sides and the rear it’s all showing signs of age and looks very jaded. The owners obviously knew that the pool and garden area would be overrun by the folk in these apartments, who I would guess didn’t have access to the pool and garden area, so kept a close watch on proceedings. I couldn’t actually decide if these apartments were rented out or owned and lived in outright. We had no issue with any of them, but it was an aspect we didn’t anticipate. The families with young children could be boisterous in true Italian fashion but it added entertainment. Outside the front there was a road that separates the apartments from the beach. I wouldn’t call it a main road but it was the route along the coast so was pretty busy. I would imagine in high summer it would be jammed. I got the impression from the initial viewings on the site that the apartment was either beach side or with views of the beach but it was neither. Again this wasn’t an issue for us two but if you had children and thought you could let them on the beach and keep an eye on them, well you cannot. A car is essential. There are lido’s along the beach and public free areas but unless you want all your time on the beach then you need transport. We actually found it quite a decent spot to set off from. Etna was a bit of an uphill drive to the base station but Taormina is close and for Godfather fans the main movie sites are close by and easily reached. We drove about most days and always found some interesting spots. There are some excellent vineyards on Etnas northern slopes. The local restaurants were close by. We stayed local every night to avoid driving and by and large the food was very good in most and excellent in one or two. It’s typical Sicilian but nothing wrong with that, it’s what we go for in the first place. In summary we think it’s well worth a visit. Couldn’t fault the owners, enjoyed it all.

Fijn appartement met heerlijk zwembad vlak aan zee

We hebben een fijne vakantie gehad in dit appartement. Het appartement is netjes en compleet, met een groot balkon of terras. Wij hebben heerlijk gebruik kunnen maken van het ruime zwembad. Aan de overkant van de weg loop je naar de zee met een groot kiezelstrand. Wij zaten er eind april, toen waren er nog geen strandtenten opgebouwd. De locatie is vrij centraal gelegen voor maken van uitstapjes langs de west kant van Sicilië en de Etna. Alles is goed te bereiden. Fondachello zelf is niet zo'n heel mooi dorp. Veel leegstand en huizen die aan een opknap beurt toe zijn, verder ligt er veel vuilnis langs de wegen zoals in geheel Sicilië. Wel zijn er een aantal restaurants waar je lekker en goedkoop kan eten. Een klein supermarkt ligt op loopafstand. Grotere supermarkten liggen op ca 5 km.

Fantastic acccommodation, lovely pool and great staff!

Property was very clean, all ameneties as described, pool area lovely and relaxing. All the staff we dealt with were fantastic and helped us in every way, especially Giuseppe! To stay at this property I would advise hiring a car to access other parts of Sicily. Would recommend this property.

Perfect apartment

We had a late flight and did not arrive in Fondachello until around midnight but we were met by a lovely lady who showed us our private parking spot (with locked gates to the gardens/garage). She then showed us everything we needed to know about the apartment, garden and local restaurants. It was perfect for our family of 4 with views to Etna from the back and the lovely gardens and pool to the front. The balcony runs the length of the apartment so plenty of space with outdoor tables and chairs for eating and a comfortable sofa for chilling out. There were specific times we could use the pool but this was not a problem as there was loads of time! Many days we had the pool to ourselves for the morning if we were not going out until later, I had a swim at 9 every morning and there was never anyone else there-I will miss this! Often around 5-7 it was also very quiet. The apartment had enough to make basic meals,I would say an extra pot would have been helpful but as we mostly ate out in evenings it was never much of a problem. Fondachello is a little town but close to so many lovely places such as Etna (which we saw erupt,kids were very impressed!), the very lovely Taormina and Giradini Naxos, Botanical gardens, Alcantara gorge but also only around 1.5 hours from Syracuse. I would definitely recommend the apartment if you want to see this area of Sicily. I'd also recommend Iceberg for ice cream, a 5 minute walk away. We will be back to aee other parts of the island we missed!

Objekt mit schönem Garten und tollem Pool, Apartment-Ausstattung für 4 Personen etwas mager. Strand nah, aber nur Kies. Ende Mai/Anfang Juni zu früh, da Lidi noch geschlossen bzw. im Aufbau. Region, abgesehen von touristischen Hotspots (z.B. Taormina) sehr vermüllt.

A great apartment with fabulous balcony and pool

The apartment was perfect for our needs. It was clean and well equipped. The balcony which runs the length of the apartment, and overlooks the garden and pool was lovely; on the nights we ate in we spent the whole evening out there (a citronella candle helped to keep the mosquitoes away). The pool was perfect for cooling off after a hot day. The beach is just across the road. There are pizzerias, and a small supermarket within a short walk. We hired a car, and the location of the apartment meant we could easily visit Etna, Catania, Taomina, and the Alcantara Gorge for day trips. The owner was extremely helpful and very welcoming. I would recommend it!

Nous avons passé 5 belles journées dans cet appartement relooké de façon contemporaine et munis d'une belle piscine. Seul bémol la climatisation ne fonctionne qu'à l'aide d'une clé qui est cadenassée à la clé de l'appartement...quand on revient d'une excursion l'appartement est chaud!

Nicht so gut wie erwartet

Aus der Beschreibung und den Bildern hatten wir die Vorstellung unseren Urlaub in einem parkähnlichen Grundstück zu verbringen. Tatsächlich hatten wir keinen Zugang zum Garten und der Pool machte nach einem ersten Test einen sehr fragwürdigen Eindruck in Bezug auf die Hygiene. Der Pool wurde während unserer Woche dort nicht gereinigt. Die Anlage besteht aus ca 16 Wohneinheiten. Der äußere Eindruck deutet darauf hin, dass die Anlage ihre beste Zeit hinter sich hat. An etlichen Stellen löste sich der Putz, sämtliche Metallteile zeigten starke Verrostungen Unsere Ferienzeit um den Feragosto herum war sehr ungünstig da der angrenzende Strand sehr beliebt ist und die Küstenstraße direkt am Grundstück vorbeiführt, wodurch rund um die Uhr eine erhebliche Lärmbelastung vorhanden ist. Die Wohnung hatte eine gute Ausstattung, wobei es insgesamt sehr hellhörig ist. Das Kinderzimmer ist in Auflösung begriffen und die Betten sind sehr klein (unsere Kinder sind 17 und 19 Jahre). Das Elternbett hat eine gute Matratze. In der Küche würde sich die Anschaffung hochwertigerer Töpfe und Pfannen lohnen, da der Herd fantastisch ist. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war unkompliziert. Diese waren freundlich und professionell in der Abwicklung.

Tut mir leid, eine Rezension wie diese zu lesen. Vor allem, weil einige Dinge falsch gesagt wurden, aber zum Glück können die anderen Bewertungen zeigen. Es ist absolut nicht wahr, dass der Komplex 16 Häuser hat. Unsere Struktur hat nur 4 Häuser. Darüber hinaus haben wir einen großen Garten für die 4 Wohnungen, so dass es nicht stimmt, was Sie gesagt haben. Der Pool ist immer in hervorragenden hygienischen Bedingungen gehalten, es kann manchmal mit dem Ausbruch von Ätna passieren, dass der Sand am Boden landet und Sie einige Tage brauchen, um ihn zu sammeln. Dies ändert jedoch nichts an der Sauberkeit des Wassers. Es war trotzdem schön, Sie als Gast zu haben.

Ideale per chi si vuole rilassare

Luogo tranquillo e rilassante a 2 passi dal mare per chi lo preferisce alla piscina .Il proprietario nella persona di Giuseppe è veramente gentile e disponibile esaudendo ogni nostra richiesta. L' appartamento al suo interno è come da foto pulito moderno e accogliente con un terrazzo abbastanza grande per poterci mangiare tranquillamente.. A 300 metri si trova un mini market , un'ottima gelateria e nelle vicinanze è stracolma di pizzerie e ristoranti dove poter mangiare Unico consiglio per chi si reca qui è quello di organizzarsi contro le zanzare che purtroppo visto il verde del giardino e la piscina trovano un ambiente ideale dove vivere ..Problema risolto con le spirali alla citronella sparsi sul balcone ... Ci torneremo sicuramente con amici !!

Molto bella pulita accessoriata e moderna! Ottima compagnia e ideale per una vacanza; la posizione è ottima per andare al mare ,ma se si è stanchi c'è la possibilità di andare in pisicna che è sempere molto pulita. Vivamente consigliata.
