The cottage is also close to the Forest of Dean with its cycling paths, picnic sites, Sculpture Trail and family attractions such as Go Ape. For sightseeing, memorable days out can be had at the Blaenavon World Heritage Site, the Roman Caerleon, and Goodrich, Raglan or Eastnor Castles.
