The bus station with numerous bus routes is a few minutes walk away. The train station is also within a couple of minutes walk.

Great stay

Location was good for what we wanted. Really pleased with the house, clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Great communication and would definitely recommend.

Comfortable and practical but a long way from town

I was charged with booking for four friends to enjoy a short break in Chichester and found this property on the site. It was as described in the details and was more than adequate for our requirements. Everything one could need was provided and the house was clean and comfortable. We have been lucky to stay in more period properties in the past and this modern house wasn't quite to our taste but that's a minor point really. The only downside for us was the long walk from the centre of town through the maze of the hospital grounds. We are all fast walkers but it took over half an hour to find the property the first time and we had cases in the rain! But once we had sussed the route and unpacked the walk was more like the 20-25 minutes quoted. Highly rate the local taxi firm (Starline) which was great on a rainy evening and to take us back to the station on the final morning. Overall we felt the property was reasonably priced, pleasant enough and fitted our requirements. Communication was good too. Thank you

While the modern style wasn’t quite to your taste, it’s understandable that personal preferences vary. The walk from the town center through the hospital grounds sounds like a bit of an adventure, especially with luggage in the rain! However, it’s good to know that once you figured out the route, it became more manageable. Your recommendation of the local taxi firm (Starline) is valuable for future guests. Overall, it seems like you had a reasonably pleasant stay. 😊
