Nice property, nice location. Great outdoor space
Rooms were damp, especially the one by the toilet, the house needed a good clean but this didn’t spoil our visit
We were a group of friends looking for somewhere special to spend the weekend and the old schoolhouse really fit the bill. Such an individual and comfortable property that has been designed beautifully. Lots of communal spaces to sit and catch up. Amazing kitchen, comfortable beds, thoughtful decoration - it really exceeded expectations! Hosts were really helpful with recommendations and we enjoyed a lovely walk around Stumpshaw Fen followed by lunch at the Shoulder of Mutton pub. Will definitely be back, absolutely amazing place
The property was well suited for the family in terms of bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen facilities. The house was very impressive, particularly the central staircase, and the grounds gave ample opportunity for the children to play. There was a problem with the main door lock but this was quickly fixed by the owner. Our only criticism was that the lighting was very dim for our liking.
As soon as we arrived we were impressed, what a great building, a bit different to your standard home. We spent a lot of time in the kitchen come conservatory as it was warm and bright. One night we lit a fire in the lounge which gave a great ambiance, We would have lived to have used the bbq area, but the rain let us down , We were 6 old duffers that thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Finally thank you Steve for letting us stay a little longer than 10am on departure day, it made a massive difference not having to rush to leave.
