Luca was very communicative through the process- from my first inquiry to welcoming us and until sending us off with a warm goodbye. His place was so charming, just as pictured, comfortable, clean and plenty of amenities inside and out! The beautiful property is relaxing, quiet, filled with olive trees, native plants & spectacular views! Luca offered wonderful suggestions where to dine and explore! The village of Radicondoli was also welcoming by the residents there. It was a MOST memorable stay!

Wonderful stay

My husband and I had a lovely time in Podere il Giglio, Luca is the best host, who was available at all times. Radicondoli is the best village, Café Nazionale has the best Americano. Don't visit San Gimigmano though, it's worse than Disneyland. The stay was perfect, May is a good time to travel.

Best. of Tuscany

We highly recommend staying here. It is a perfect way to relax in a house that has all the essentials with comfortable bedrooms, full kitchen, beautiful living room, and everything very clean. Luca and his wife are gracious and accommodating. They designed and built the house and it is remarkable: A very serene and comfortable setting. It is stunning in its architecture with a living room view over an olive orchard and a sitting area just outside the door. Villages in the area are easily accessible and provide a wonderful immersion into the regional culture.

Absolutely amazing quiet Tuscany Retreat!!

Luca, the owner was very communicative prior to arrival and once we were there. We had a last minute date change and so kindly obliged us. The guest cottage is 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was very clean and beautiful. There is also a pool. Radiconoli is very centrally located in Tuscany to drive to many wonderful nearby larger cities like Siena, but remote enough for incredible peace and quiet. Bedding was very comfortable. Full mini kitchen less an oven. We absolutely LOVED our week here and would highly recommend this place if you want a beautiful view and a peaceful retreat. Mary who helped check us in was an absolute sweetheart. And GriGri, the owners 15yr old cat, came to check on now and again. We felt so at home here! We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay. The house and setting far exceeded our expectations and we wish we had stayed longer than a week so we could've spent more time just relaxing around the stunning peaceful accommodation. But we felt the need to get out to explore this stunning part of Italy too. Lots to see and do within a reasonable drive, the local village is also charming. Fantastic helpful and friendly hosts, including their beautiful cat, dog and chickens who the children loved chatting to each morning. Minor improvement would be a proper oven rather than a microwave and mosquito nets at bedroom doors but that's a small niggle. Highly recommend to anyone. Perfect for family or couples. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Peace and beauty-a wonderful location.

We were 2 couples who felt that everything we needed was here. The Tuscany style home is about 10 years old, so it offers conveniences not found in the older places. But it has every element of the charm Tuscany offers. Well stocked kitchen, a washer and tucked way back from the main road on the hillside for a peaceful view. We used it as a base for travel to all the important places including Pisa (2 hour drive). Luca gave perfect directions when we called to say that we missed the turnoff. Memories to be treasured from our visit to Il Giglo Farm.

wonderful property, very gentle owner, nice stay, but a few small improvements needed.

Comfortable beds and roomy showers and bathrooms, incredible views of the hilly countryside. We stayed with another couple (friends) in the 2 bedrooms 2 bath unit. almost everything perfect. Here's what could (easily, I hope) make it 100% perfect : 1) full roll of toilet paper each bathroom (thank God we travel prepared) 2) soap for the dishwasher (doesn't cost much after all) 3) solve the acoustic problem: even a whisper in one bedroom can be heard in the other 4) it should be noted that the access dirt road is not suited to low clearing vehicles (we were OK, a Porsche probably would not), and help with luggage for older people would be mandatory (again, we were OK, but had to tell friends in their 70s not to go there because of that). Aside from the above, an overall nice property. Stayed only two nights, 24 and 25 October, 2018

Perfect stay in a wonderful location with a very friendly host

We had a perfect vacation in Luca's house with two adults and a teenager. The road to the house is single lane and gravel, but not a problem. Host Luca was waiting for us on arrival with a breakfast basket for the next few days. The house is very quiet in the middle of olive trees and Luca (also lives on the large property) was very discreet, but always available. Luca makes his own olive oil, which tastes very good, we were happy to buy it. The furnishings of the house correspond to the pictures and are of very high quality and well thought out. We were also able to use a washing machine. There are two seating areas outside that belong to the house, where you can sit undisturbed. Radicondoli is a pretty, medieval village and can be reached on foot in 20-25 minutes, straight up the hill from the house. There are some good restaurants and a mini-coop market there. Radicondoli is perfectly located to reach interesting destinations in Tuscany such as Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Florence. We highly recommend the house! Grazie mille, Luca! Claudia, Pia & Horst

Wunderbares Ferienhaus mit weitem Blick

Das Ferienhaus ist wirklich was besonderes. Es liegt wunderbar in einem Olivenbaumhain, man hat einen weiten Blick über die toskanische Hügellandschaft. Das Haus ist tipptopp, in typischen toskanischen Baustil, sehr schön eingerichtet, perfekt ausgestattet. Und Luca ist ein sehr angenehmer Gastgeber, sein Willkommes-Korb mit Lebensmitteln ein echtes Highlight! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Paradies in der Toskana

Perfektes Ferienhaus mit allem was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Ein Bad im Pool ist selbst bei hohen Außentemperaturen wunderbar erfrischend. Für den ersten Tag stand ein Frühstückspaket bereit. Lucas Olivenöl können wir nur empfehlen. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder.

Ein traumhafter Familienurlaub in der Toskana

Wir hatten das große Glück, unseren Familienurlaub in einer wunderschönen Unterkunft im Herzen der Toskana zu verbringen. Das Haus war ein absoluter Volltreffer – modern und gleichzeitig charmant mit allen Annehmlichkeiten, die man sich für einen entspannten Urlaub wünschen kann. Der Pool war ein absolutes Highlight und bot einen spektakulären Ausblick auf die typisch malerische Landschaft der Toskana. Umgeben von den sanften Hügeln und Olivenhaine war es der perfekte Ort zum Entspannen und Genießen. Die Schattenplätze rund um den Pool waren ideal, um der heißen Mittagssonne zu entfliehen, was bei Temperaturen um die 35 Grad besonders wichtig war. Trotz der heißen Außentemperaturen hatten wir im Haus immer ein sehr angenehmes Raumklima. Dank der Mückennetze an allen Fenstern konnten wir diese tagsüber und auch nachts weit geöffnet lassen, was eine herrliche Frischluftzufuhr ermöglichte. So blieb das Haus stets angenehm kühl – und wir blieben zudem von lästigen Insekten verschont! Die Lage der Unterkunft war für uns perfekt. Viele der schönsten Orte der Toskana wie Volterra, San Gimignano und Siena waren gut erreichbar, was unseren Aufenthalt abwechslungsreich und spannend machte. Jede dieser Städte hat ihren ganz eigenen Charme und es war fantastisch, so viele kulturelle und historische Schätze in der Nähe zu haben. Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt einfach traumhaft. Diese Unterkunft hat uns die Toskana von ihrer schönsten Seite erleben lassen.

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus auf wunderschönem Anwesen. Tolle Betten, tolle Bäder, Küche biete alles, was man braucht. Sehr netter Besitzer. Der Pool ist traumhaft und die Umgebung bietet viel und ist trotzd nicht zu überlaufen.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt

Es ist eigentlich noch viel schöner, als die Bilder dies hergeben. Der Ausblick ist phänomenal, das Haus sehr gut gepflegt, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es ist alles da, was man braucht. Sowohl für Erwachsene als auch für Kinder ist dies ein geeigneter Ort, um zur Ruhe zu kommen, im Pool die Zeit zu genießen und Ausflüge in den nahegelegenen wunderschönen Ort Radicondoli oder andere Städte, wie Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena, Florenz zu machen. Vielen Dank an Luca und seine Frau - beides sehr nette und freundliche Gastgeber!:-)

Ein super Urlaubsziel

Das einzelln stehende Haus ist echt etwas besonderes. Für alle die Natur und ihre Ruhe Lieben genau das richtige. Das Haus hat alles was einen sehr schönen Urlaub braucht. Luca hat die Anlage sehr ordentlich und liebevoll gepflegt. Er ist ein sehr guter Gastgeber. Überhaupt Nicht aufdringlich und immer sehr zuvorkommend. Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen!

Your Tuscan dream

The property is even better than the fotos!! The small town of Radicondoli is quintessential Tuscany and is a short walk from the property. Luca is the perfect host, making sure that all your needs are met, super friendly but not intruding. We stayed 4 nights which was not enough, make sure you stay longer, there is so much to explore. We rented a car in Florence and it was an easy hour drive to the property, good directions from Luca made it very easy to find. I would definitely return and can not recommend it highly enough.

Tolles Hus in absoluter Ruhe und perfekt zum Erholen

Luca ist einfach ein super Gastgeber. Ruhig und immer da, wenn es eine Frage gibt. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet. Sehr gute Betten und alles sauber und so wie beschrieben. Wir waren 10 Tage dort und wenn man sich erholen will, ist es perfekt um Ruhe zu finden. Vielen Dank noch einmal an Luca und sehr zu empfehlen. ------------------------------------------------------------- Luca is just a great host. Not "visible", but always available when there is a question. The house is well equipped. Very good beds and everything was clean and as described. We were there for 10 days and if you want to relax, it's perfect to find peace. Thanks again to Luca and highly recommended.

Tuscan Tranquility

We spent two weeks at this lovely farm with beautiful views. The house is nicely furnished and immaculately clean. The property consists of two bedrooms, two baths, and a combined kitchen, sitting room and dining area. Outside is another seating area under a lovely pergola. The property has a beautiful swimming pool, and although shared with the other unit, we mostly had it to ourselves. The hosts are welcoming, helpful and offered recommendations as to places to visit and eat. The welcome hamper we received on our first night was a lovely gesture and came in handy as we were late after a long drive from France. Fond memories of this property that we highly recommend, especially our daughter's friendship with the owner's cat. Lovely time had by all.
