Villa Il Mignale, so named for its unique history, is a castle-like property entirely at guests’ disposal, featuring a separate entrance. The villa features 2 double bedrooms (one with an en suite bathroom) and 1 single bedroom, a kitchen-living room, and a main bathroom. It is surrounded by spacious private terraces, tastefully furnished with Vietri ceramic tile floors, and equipped with all the amenities you could need. Access is via 50 steps leading through a large garden with lemon trees and native plants, equipped with a barbecue, table, and chairs for outdoor dining. On the upper level is a spacious sun terrace for the exclusive use of guests, furnished with garden furniture, a gazebo, deck chairs, and lounge chairs.

Just 50 metres from the villa is an old tavern-restaurant, where the cuisine features local specialities and local D.O.C. wine. Nearby you’ll find: a pizzeria-restaurant, a supermarket and other shops, a post office, an ATM, a pharmacy, an Info Point, a wine bar, and various other stores.

Villa il Mignale is located in the heart of Furore, known to tourists as the “painted village” of the Amalfi Coast for its impressive open-air art gallery featuring over a hundred paintings and sculptures found in the town squares and on the facades of the houses. Furore, perched on one of the most beautiful roads in the world, sheer-sided over the sea and offering breathtaking views, is an irresistible stretch of the Amalfi Coast. This land of wine and art was originally called Terra Furoris because of the roar produced by the sea as it crashed against the high walls of the fjord. Getting around by car is definitely much easier on the Amalfi Coast, which is why a car is highly recommended. The bus stop is 50 metres away: the SITAbus public bus line connects Furore with Amalfi. From Amalfi, you can travel (by sea or by land) to other coastal towns such as Positano, Praiano, Ravello, and Sorrento. During the summer, travelling by sea is highly recommended, whether by public ferry or private boat, which offer the chance to take mini-cruises along the coast, private tours, and excursions to Capri. The taxi service is also very efficient.
