Superb House Close to the beaches

The house was released for sale in 2022 (this and several houses in this development were built a few years previously but never released until now) We would love to say it was a bargain but as always you get what you pay for and how much you invest in the property!  In reality it's exactly where we wanted to site our next Spanish holiday home because of its proximity to everything the town and the beaches of San Juan have to offer and we have furnished it to make it a real home from home. We previously owned an apartment on the outskirts of town but found we missed the bars, restaurants/chiringuitos and and glorious sandy beaches now literally a 5 minute walk away on our doorstep.  Lovely as it was we relied on using the car often several times a day. So although we still use a car to visit the numerous beaches and towns further afield there is more than enough within San Juan de Los Terreros  within easy walking distance to choose an airport transfer and not use a car at all!  

The house itself is on 3 levels. The entrance via a courtyard with dining suite/parsasol etc. is bathed in sunshine in the morning and afternoon. Plenty of parking is directly at  the front on the quiet private road (with an electronic security barrier)  At the end of the road is a large children's play area and just outside the house round the corner (literally one minute's walk!) is a lovely pool area open from July to the end of September . The house is a couple of minutes easy walk from the restaurants, chiringuitos, two supermarkets, and 5 minute level walk to the glorious golden beaches. . An excellent location. The lounge Tv dining area kitchen bedrooms =2 bathrooms and solarium are all comfortable and well equipped and one of the first additions we made was air conditioning to ensure it is comfortable throughout the year.

Almeria has the mildest winters and warmest coastal climate in mainland Spain and 325 + days of sunshine a year. This extends the season considerably and it isn’t unusual to see bathers in the sea right into the middle of November.
San Juan has 3 glorious beaches, all within easy walking distance of the house and an authentic Spanish feel, a genuine laid back relaxed atmosphere and some lovely restaurants just a stroll away from home and friendly locals.
Almeria is also one of the less developed areas of Spain. The building height in San Juan is restricted to mainly 3 storeys so the endless over development of high rise apartments so common in some of the more commercialised areas of Spain hasn't happened here!
If you are looking for a Benidorm or Torremolinos don’t come here! If you are looking for a superb laid back resort with excellent facilities for either chilling/relaxing, with superb beaches, a stunning coastline, mountains and access to numerous chiringuitos as well as sporting facilities this is the place for you  
Unlike many other resorts in Spain there is no evidence of the 2007/8 property crash in San Juan, no part completed deserted building sites.
In fact it’s the complete opposite with a beautiful modern promenade, new sports centre under construction and of course this newly released phase of town houses literally a 5 minute walk to the beaches and all the facilities the town has to offer. 
New owners in San Juan come from all over Europe including Spain, France, Poland, Belgium and Scandinavia as well as the UK 
You are also minutes away from even more magical sandy beaches, the towns of Aguilas, Lorca, Mojacar, Vera. Its a fabulous area and well worth a visit if you love quiet laid back holidays with great places to eat and soft sandy beached with an enviable climate that extends the season.
