Excellent cottage in lovely location. Everything provided for a very comfortable stay. Thank you.
Just a little suggestion - next time a plug socket needs changing consider replacing it with one that also has a USB charging socket.
Outstanding location, peaceful surroundings and very comfortable! Could not have asked for a better place to stay in the Cotswolds. Coming from a fun, but busy stay in London, we ended our trip to the UK in Blockley for a couple of days of relaxation and exploring the Cotswolds. The house was beautiful inside with very comfortable beds, and the outside was peaceful and perfect for sitting outside and listening to the birds. With a very easy walk into the town for exploring and a great local cafe and grocery store, we loved everything about the Otters Abode and would highly recommend it if you are in the area.
This place has lots of potential! It’s beautiful, the neighborhood is perfect and it’s easy to visit the other villages. Negatives: upstairs is very musty. There are quite a few cracks in the ceiling that are holding moisture and need to be sealed so my throat was sore the entire time I was at the property. It was not very clean. Lots of cobwebs in high traffic areas, dishes had food stuck to them, everything in the space was clearly second hand (pans were rusted and scraped) heat didn’t work upstairs the first night but then did the rest of the trip so it must be a faulty connection. Coffee and a functioning coffee maker is a must for rentals especially so isolated so having only one pod for multiple people available for a 4 day stay is pretty cheap. If these things are adjusted and the place is thoroughly cleaned between stays then this could be a wonderful place for the price but it was definitely not up to par with the other places we stayed in the area for cheaper.

Cotswolds dream
We stayed at Otters Abode Cottage in May for five days.
The accommodation was really cosy and nice.
The cottage was warm and clean; we appreciated the beautiful garden with the small stream running through it.
The place was quiet and immersed in nature.
The location is very convenient for travelling around the Cotswolds and not too far from Oxford.
Nick and Fiona were really kind and promptly attentive to our requests.
Highly recommended for a short stay in the Cotswolds!

Lovely stay
Loved this little character cottage , with everything you could possibly need .
Extremely clean and well presented.
The only thing we think should be mentioned on the advert for this super place is - there is a steep incline to the start of the driveway so any low cars ie sports cars could scrape the front of your car and maybe causing a lot of damage .
But we would certainly recommend a stay.

Wonderful place. All very neat and clean. Really quaint place.
A lovely house, very cosy and stylishly decorated. Great location, peaceful and pretty. Walking distance to the Great Western Arms, which had delicious food and great service. Easy drive to Morton in the Marsh, Stow on the Wold etc.
The only small picky thing would be the lack of a food cupboard in the kitchen and it could do with some hooks to hang dressing gowns etc upstairs- no biggie obviously!
