About this property

Tranquil Country Home with large grounds and private pool

Our cascina is located in the hills outside of Nizza Monferrato. We have kept the original vaulted ceilings and brick arches in the house but modernised the inside to allow for a bright, airy and functional space. Our favourite place to spend time swings between the spacious kitchen diner area to the private snuggled portico lounge. The kids spend their summer days swimming in the private pool or playing in the expansive grounds. In winter we are treated to fabulous sunsets and in the summer the sound of crickets infuses the warm evenings.

Amazing pool and garden

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful location. The garden and pool were beautiful and the kids spent most of the week in the pool. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby but the house was well equipped to self- cater. Our hosts Jess and Trevor were really helpful and communicative. Would throughly recommend.

Great house in the hills of Piemonte

Very nice house in the hills of Piemonte. A house with a view! After being very well received by Jessica and Trevor, we were looking forward to a pleasant and relaxing stay. And it was!!The house, with big rooms, was well equipped. You have all you need! The patio is the perfect place to have an 'aperitivo' or to have a relaxing moment in the shade of the sun. And when it's still too warm outside, you can have a swim in the big swimming pool, next to the patio. Also many thanks to the robot lawn mower!

2 weken mochten wij genieten van dit prachtige vakantiehuis wat als een thuis voelde omdat alles compleet aanwezig was. Schoon, groot, kindvriendelijk! Ik zou dit huis aanraden bij vrienden en familie! Ook Jessica en Trevor waren mega vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Bedankt!

We are a family of four who live in the cascina most of the year with the exception of the summer months when we rent it to holiday makers. Our young children attend local schools and we have a small business here. We love the cascina and have spent the last 6 years restoring it and making it our home. The children's favorite area is the swimming pool whilst ours would be the portico'd sitting area, sampling some of our very fine local wines.

What makes this property unique

We love the sunsets in winter and the sound of the countryside in the summer evenings. We enjoy a south facing aspect so the summer evenings are long and warm. Although we are only 5 minutes from our nearest village and market town our home is private and quiet so we enjoy the best of both worlds.
