Skipton is the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales and is a great base for exploring the fabulous local countryside. It is a short drive to attractions such as Bolton Abbey, Malham, the Three Peaks, and Ribblehead. But you don’t have to leave the wonderful town of Skipton to enjoy your stay. This quaint and historic market town boasts a long list of good restaurants, cafes, bars, pubs and shops. It also has its own 900-year-old castle and some lovely walks along its cobbled streets and the Leeds-Liverpool canal.
Situated in a super-quiet cul-de-sac yet only a three-minute walk to Skipton’s bustling High Street, Hoglet House is exceptionally well equipped and tastefully decorated throughout. The open plan kitchen-dining-living space is the centrepiece of the house and is the pefect space to be your home away from home.
In addition to all the standard things you’d expect, the comfortable house also includes an electric car charger, private off-street parking, two smart TVs, an office room, a large seven-hob cooker, a coffee maker, a separate washer and dryer, a dishwasher, and a garden shed where you store your bikes. As you move through the house you’ll be impressed by the high standards, the many nice touches, and the attention to detail - we challenge you to find all the hidden hedgehogs and hoglets!
The whole house is yours for your stay. You will have private off-road parking for one car, and shared street parking for any additional vehicles. You are only a 3 minute walk from the town centre so all amenieties are easily accessed during your stay at Hoglet House.
Located just five minutes walk from the historic Holy Trinity Church (some of it dating back to the 12th century!), you will be treated to the sound of bellringing occasionally during your stay. Their main chorus is on a Sunday morning, and they welcome all visitors to their practise on a Tuesday evening at 7.30pm.
