Lodge was good, the carpets were a bit grubby in places and the en-suite bathroom was mouldy in quite a few places, also there were a lot of cobwebs around the ceilings and windows but everywhere else was really clean!!

There were a few bugs in the bathroom under the shower. The bed linen didn’t fit the bed very well. The mattress protector kept coming off and I had to make the bed from scratch at least twice. Very few cooking pots and only 1 shelf in quite a large oven.

The stay was okay. Very stingy with toilet paper and dish washing pods, 6 people 2 rolls of toilet paper and 2 dish washing pods for 7 days. When asked if we could get more, we were told they gave us 1 more and said the next time we need to pay for them. Reception closes by 5 pm and no other infornation if you arrive after 5. The bath room wells could be cleaner. The tiles and grouds are quite dirty with black mold. Could use a ceiling fan in the living room and netting on the windows and doors to keep insects out especially at night. My husband left a pair of his Samsung galaxy earbuds and the Apple airpod headphone there and was never found.

Beautiful surroundings and lodge

Perfect base to visit Bath and surrounding area. Beautiful countryside surroundings but a quick drive to the city. Lodge was spacious, and perfectly equipped for a group of 6 adults. Lovely spacious deck area. We saw ducks, pheasants and deer from our lodge which was great.
