Thank you, Sarah, we're so glad you enjoyed your stay in our lovely cottage and found it comfortable and welcoming. Your kind words mean a lot to us. We look forward to welcoming you back for another wonderful visit!
Very clean rooms and helpful staff during our stay. Great location, although crowded area so parking was possible but down the street a little ways. The pub next door was convenient (Fox and Badger) and the property location was very quiet while also feeling like you're in the middle of a historic town. Beautiful lodging, and the hosts left Prosecco and made us feel welcome overall through a well-designed guest book. The downsides are in line with the house age (historical property), but travelers should be aware that as an older home, it's not wheelchair accessible and all our guests had trouble with the narrow passageways/steps. The floors can be uneven and the doorways low, so our taller guests bashed their heads a few times. Although there was a 20-page instruction book, there were no instructions for the shower, which proved to be problematic. The hosts were helpful for us with this, but you may want to double-check through the VRBO messaging app (super responsive hosts) how to use it before using it.
