Region: Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
Town: Located between the Snowdonia Mountains (including the Rhinogs) and the beautiful golden beaches of North Wales, Llanbedr is a picturesque village. There are two great pubs in this picturesque village, which is located next to the picturesque River Artro and enjoys a mild climate thanks to its unusual position behind the high dunes of a nature reserve. The area also features a wide variety of wildlife and birds, convenient local shops, bike rental, and access to beautiful mountain walks. Harlech Castle, located in the nearby small town of Harlech, is the most impressive of Edward I's fortifications in North Wales and is a World Heritage Site. The town of Harlech is known for the world-famous Royal St. David's golf course, but it also has a beautiful six-mile-long sandy beach, perfect for long strolls and family fun. Nearby Barmouth is home to the breath-taking Panorama Walk along the beautiful Mawddach Estuary, providing vistas that have been called "the most sublime view in Europe" by John Ruskin, as well as a harbour where you can catch a ferry to Fairbourne to ride the miniature railway or head out to sea to try your hand at mackerel fishing. Holidaying here is a great idea any time of year because of all the amazing things to do in and around Snowdonia National Park and the stunning natural beauty of Cardigan Bay.
