Ness on the Lane

Located in a quiet residential area, yet only a 10-minute walk from Inverness city centre, Ness on the Lane is a beautiful period home packed full of character.

Recently renovated, the quirky interior is guaranteed to make your stay a memorable one. With five super-king bedrooms, four bathrooms, kitchen diner and separate living room; there is space for the whole family to relax after a day of adventure. There is also a beautiful fully enclosed garden, off street parking and EV charging.

The spacious hallway leads you from the front porch in to a cosy, sociable living room, with a 55” smart TV & a pink period fireplace (please note that the fire is not operational).

To the rear of the property is an open plan kitchen diner with patio doors out to the beautiful garden. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, washer dryer and Nespresso coffee machine. And the huge dining table will happily accommodate 10 guests. This fantastic space is the ideal place for your group to socialise.

There is also a ground floor bedroom, with a super-king bed & 55” smart TV. A funky bathroom with roll top bath & walk in shower completes the downstairs accommodation.

Upstairs there are a further four spacious bedrooms, all equipped with super king beds! The bedrooms have all been individually styled to add extra interest to this fabulous home. There are two en-suite shower rooms and a further family bathroom, with a walk-in shower & double vanity unit.

The large rear garden is fully enclosed, with lovely features, including a sunny patio area with picnic tables, a ceramic kamado charcoal BBQ grill & smoker and a children’s playhouse.

The driveway has parking for up to 3 cars and there is free on-street parking.

An Electric Vehicle charger (7kV) is also available for your use.

A selection of books, games, toys, Netflix and a Nintendo Wii provide entertainment for rainy days.

We offer a secure garage to store bikes, kayaks, golf clubs etc.

Well behaved dogs are welcome.

A cot and highchair are available for young children.

There are exterior security cameras at the property.

Exploring Family History
Jill is an excellent host. She provided everything visiting guests would need. Everything in the house met our needs. The kitchen is outstanding and entire house super clean. There was enough room for our family of eight so each person could have their own private space. Such a great location— just a easy twenty minute walk to the city center, bus service near by, restaurants and take away close by, Tesco for groceries down the street— perfect for us. We totally enjoyed our stay at your location and definitely would recommend this rental to everyone. Jill, thank you for making our stay so special. Oh!! Tasteful renovations in a convenient, quiet location
Nicely appointed and very comfortable for a family of 9 ranging in age from 10-80 years old. Easy walk to the river and town. Highly recommended!
