Ardgarry enjoys a central yet peaceful location in the heart of the Highland Capital Inverness, close to the River Ness, Inverness Castle, Inverness Cathedral, Eden Court Theatre, Eastgate's new shopping centre and many restaurants and pubs offering a wide variety of cuisine and entertainment.

Our traditional stone built Victorian home is only five minutes walk from both the train & bus station and easy to access by car with off street parking.

Our warm and comfortable rooms & our reputation for the best of Highland hospitality & great value accommodation in a homely property will provide you with an ideal opportunity for an excellent stay.

Our host (Garry) was incredibly attentive and checked on us frequently. The house was adequate for our needs. The property is very favorably located, walking distance to everything we needed. The only opportunity might be to update/modernize the house a bit.

Great location!

Located a short walk from the bus station, it was perfect for our one-night stay in Inverness. Garry quickly responded to all our questions and was very helpful with information.

This house was perfect for our trip to Inverness. Plenty of room for our large group and in a great location. Just a short walk to all the bars, shops and restaurants. The place was immaculate when we arrived. Garry was super helpful, always available and even let us enter the house well before check in time. I highly recommend Ardgarry.

Great location, plenty of rooms

Located just a short walk over the river to downtown Inverness via a cool pedestrian suspension bridge. There's also an Aldi just a 5 minute walk away. There were 7 of us and we were all comfortable staying here.

Property is clean, safe, comfortable and with plenty of amenities. It’s somewhat dated and not glamorous, but hey, not claimed to be so. For us 5 dudes, it had all we needed. Wouldn’t hesitate staying there again…👍👍

May trip

The house is old, and we had some issues with the plumbing (showers that ran hot and cold and toilet flushing) , not enough electrical outlets in the bathroom or bedrooms and old TV. Garry was attentive and helpful but the house needs some updating.

Hi Christine, Thanks for your review, I have had a plumber check the showers and toilet, 2 of the showers are new this year and he could not find a problem with any of the 4 showers, he said the flush is as strong as the water supply will make it, and it works well with a moderate use of toilet paper, I will make a sign to inform future guests not to use excessive amounts of toilet paper with that toilet. We have to comply with UK electrical Health and Safety standards and that includes not having electrical sockets in any bathrooms, there are electrical adaptors to use to increase the sockets available in the bedrooms, If you had asked I could have told you which drawer they were in. The tv is a digital tv with all the freeview channels available including Skynews etc, I think the issue you had with the tv was that the remote required new batteries, which my mum came to the house to change for you. I hope you enjoyed your stay and would like to return sometime, you are always welcome. Kind regards Garry

Great Location in Inverness

The property did have 6 bedrooms and 4+ bathrooms. It was an easy walk from the train station and from downtown. The host was extremely responsive and communicative. The kitchen was very well stocked, the wifi was easy to access, the washer and dryer both worked great. There was a nice little backyard with table and chairs. The front room had a tv and a couple couches. It was an old home, the bedrooms were small, the water pressure was low, the heat was either too warm or off. We only used one of the three showers upstairs which was fine for us. We will certainly go back to Inverness. This property was located in a great location for our family.

Hi Terri, Thank you for your review, I am glad you enjoyed your stay. I would say that the rooms are an average size for properties in the UK some rooms are actually above average size especially the kitchen, lounge and downstairs en-suite bedroom. I had put the heating on for a few hours before you arrived as you were doing a walking tour around the city and I wanted to make sure you were all warm and comfortable when you arrived at the house, it may have been on for to long before you arrived, each room has a radiator with a control on it that can be adjusted to the required temperature in each room, if you feel to warm you can turn it down or totally off. I will check with the water supplier to see if there are any local issues regarding their water supply.. I hope when you return to Inverness that you choose to stay with us again, you are always welcome Kind regards Garry

El apartamento, completo y muy bien equipado, está my bien situado, de forma que en pocos minutos caminando puedes llegar al centro de Inverness. La comunicación con Garry fue magnífica, estuvo atento en todo momento a nuestras preguntas y nos ayudó en todo lo que necesitamos. Las indicaciones de entrada al apartamento fueron claras y estuvo al tanto de nuestra comodidad durante los dias que estuvimos en su casa.
