About the host
Hosted by Shelley Grisley
I live with my husband and two children in a small village in the Surrey Hills, U.K. I enjoy walking in the beautiful countryside surround us, practising yoga and spending as much time as I can with my family and close friends.
We first fell in love with Cannes in 2008 and have even renewed our views there to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Holidaying in the South of France was a natural choice as we wanted somewhere we could get to easily and quickly, with a great location, in a traditional apartment building close to all the restaurants and amenities there are to offer and with a guarantee of warm weather. We always look forward to our next trip to Cannes and always feel that our apartments give the feel of being 'home away from home'.

Why they chose this property
Cannes is a special city - not to large or too small - with beautiful golden sandy beaches, glamorous restaurants and trendy cafes / bistros from Le Squat to La Croisette, and Cannes is the perfect base to explore more of the Côte d'Azur.
What makes our apartments unique is that they are located in the most sought after area in Cannes: rue Freres des Casanova, a small cafe lined pedestrian street nestled between the busy rue d'Antibes and the lovely pedestrian street of Rue Hoche.
This is the heart of Cannes with boutique shopping, cafes and restaurants: 4 minute walk to the Palais des Festivals, a 5 minute stroll to the beaches and just a block away from the train station - where you can travel to Toulon (to watch rugby), Nice, Monte Carlo and the markets of Ventigmiglia in Italy.
We always enjoy our trips to St Tropez on the ferry on market days. The ferry departs from the port of Cannes which is 10 - 15 minutes walk away.
