Villa near Alba, privat pool, the hideaway for food and winelovers

The house is 3 minutes from the village (google maps shows the location wrong. Right coordinates 44.620325, 8.186085 ) and is 150 years old. It was fully renovated. Conserving the caracter of the old farmhouse with modern architectural and equipment.

There is an apartment with a separate entrance. Here you will find on the first floor a living room with a spectacular view along with kitchen and bathroom 2 beds are in the gallery and one separate 2 bedroom.
A shaded portico is complemented by a sunny veranda providing diverse relaxing areas which accommodate varying weather conditions. The pool, located on the lower terrace is 14x3x1,5 meters where while swimming you will have a splendid view of the "Langhe". Wander through our natural park of 3 hectares taking breaks along the way in sitting areas with benches.
I rent in July until mid September only Saturday to Saturday

We did spend a wonderful week in Castino and just had the best time. We went with our whole family and the setting couldn‘t have been more perfect for us all. The house, courgeous garden and pool was perfect and fulfilled our needs in any aspect. We did some great excursions to Alba, had drinks in Neive, visited Aqui (some by bike!!) etc. A great area, with so many options and a perfect location in every way - will be back! Isabelle Gut

Special place

A wonderful hideaway with incredible views across the valley, while also having one or two conveniences helpfully on the doorstep. Village has a general store, newspaper shop, a couple of cafes, a lunchtime trattoria and a busy pizzeria, as well as a small delicatessen with some superb regional specialities. If you want more choice in shopping and dining, Alba is only half an hour away and has a delightful centre. Local housekeeper was extremely helpful with any small issues. Beautiful, unspoilt part of the country. It happened to be extremely hot while we were there, but the old stone kept the downstairs especially cool. Rambling layout would make especially good base for combined family holidays. A la prossima!

Anwesen an traumhafter Lage

Die Villa Suzanne ist ein einmaliges Anwesen mit zahlreichen Zimmern und RĂ€umen, welche sehr stil- und liebevoll eingerichtet sind. Wenn man Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist man hier genau richtig. Die Lage mit der tollen Aussicht ĂŒber die typischen HĂŒgeln des Piemonts und der riesige und sehr gut gepflegte Garten sind einfach nur fantastisch. Am geschmackvoll gestalteten sauberen Pool, umgeben von herrlich duftendem Lavendel und Rosmarin, kann man so richtig die Seele baumeln lassen und die herrliche Landschaft und Aussicht geniessen. Die Vermieterin Suzanne ist sehr freundlich, nett und bei Fragen jederzeit sehr hilfsbereit und telefonisch erreichbar. Die HaushĂ€lterin Ursula vor Ort ist ebenfalls sehr nett, zuvorkommend und auch jederzeit sehr hilfsbereit. Fazit: dieses wundervolle Anwesen mit allem Drum und Dran ist absolut weiterzuempfehlen. GrosszĂŒgige Oase der Ruhe mit fantastischem Ausblick

Das Landgut ist geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet. Die Schlafzimmer sind grosszĂŒgig mit bequemen Betten und jedes mit viel Liebe zum versehen. Die BĂ€der sind in Ordnung. Die KĂŒche hat viel Charme, ist vollwertig ausgestattet und bietet bei kĂŒhleren Abenden eine wunderbare Essgelegenheit. Besonders geschĂ€tzt haben wir den wunderschön angelegten Garten mit Palme und Zypressenhain sowie die verschiedenen SitzplĂ€tzen -je nach Tageszeit. Daneben der traumshafte Pool, der sich harmonisch in die Ausseneinlage einfĂŒgt. Der Blick schweift auf die gegenĂŒberliegenden HĂŒgelzĂŒge mit pitoresken Dörfern umgeben von Weinbergen und Haselnussplantagen. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und uns sofort wohlgefĂŒhlt.

Aanrader voor een grote familie of een vriendengroep

Rustig gelegen maar toch vlak bij het dorpje in een prachtige en boeiende streek. Veel mogelijkheden voor daguitstappen. Zeer mooie eigendom. Heel grote, verzorgde tuin met mooi zwembad, zonneterras met ligzetels, een open en een overdekt terras met tafels. Gerieflijke, enorm grote woning met 4 zeer ruime tweepersoonskamers, 3 badkamers, vergaderzaal, 2 keukens, 2 zitkamers, koele berging en wasplaats. Alle mogelijk comfort. Wasmachine, afwasmachine, koelkasten. Geen airco, maar de buitentemperatuur zakt er 's nachts voldoende om af te koelen. Vlotte communicatie met de eigenares en de dame en heer die het landgoed onderhouden. Een absolute aanrader!

Fantastic Stay

We had a fantastic week with 2 families during which we enjoyed the wonderful house and some of the many possible activites that the region offers. The house is perfect and we felt at home immediately. Suzanne and the care takers very friendly and over the top helpful with tips on the area. They did more than necessary to get us settled in. We felt very welcome.

Perfect location and infrastructure - a wonderful stay in piedmont

Castino is a charming Italian village and the villa of Suzanne has everything you need for a perfect stay. A wonderful pool, an endless view on the surrounding hills, different locations to sit, eat and relax in the huge garden area and the housekeeper Mary cares for everything you need. We had a wonderful family holiday in the villa (with 4 kids who especially enjoyed the pool and the garden). The villa is very well equipped with several TV, Wlan, Lavazza coffee machine etc. and has a kitchen with everything you need to prepare your own italian dishes. Hiking between grapes and hazelnut on the famous hills of Piedmont, italian beaches near Savona and eating in several of the agriturismo were things we did during our stay. We definitely recommend the villa for small and bigger groups of people and are already planning our stay for the next year. Thank you very much Suzanne for the wonderful stay in Castino ! What a beautiful house, park and pool.

This house allowes you to have a most relaxing and lovely vacation. Garden pool and house are very well kept and tastefully arranged. We received very good imputs and help for making our stay exceptional with great restaurant visits and wine tastings.

Fantastic place

Highly recommendable place and great host. We were a family of 6 and we were very impressed by the house and garden - images does not reflect how nice the pool and surroundings really are :-). Service was very good and you get cleaning during the week by a nice lady.

An outstanding place

The house and its surroundings are stunning and very well cured. A place that has been set up with heart and emotion. The view and the pool are ideal and give an immediate feeling of ambiente and italianitĂ . The vicinity to the village and its facilities is perfect and the piedmont itself does not need any further explanation: A paradise for food, wine and scenery. The sea is by the way only one hour away and worthwhile a daytrip. We had memorable 5 star vacation with very caring and friendly customer service furnished by Mari, the Italian lady who takes care of the premises. Absolutely recommendable.
