About this property
Finwood Green Farm Cottages - The Calf Shed
Cosy, recently renovated cottage with self-indulgent home comforts. The property is set in a sleepy village within a stone's throw of a typical quintessential English country pub. The perfect self-catering retreat is nestled in the heart of Shakespeare country, with rural views but close to historical towns and places of interest. For those of you that like to walk, there are many public footpaths as well as canal towpaths which wind along the beautiful Warwickshire countryside.
Situated in the grounds of Finwood Green Farm, this recently renovated Calf Shed has been lovingly furnished and decorated to create a cosy but luxurious self-catering retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Located in a quiet corner of the farm, it has lovely countryside views and its own outdoor space to dine out and enjoy the fresh air.
Inside, the open plan living area provides a calm relaxing space to unwind. Escape the stress of urban life and sit peacefully with a book or chat around the table with your friends or family.
The property has two bedrooms, a smaller one on the ground floor and a larger one on the first floor. They both boast super-king beds for your comfort (which can be made into a twin bedroom by request at time of booking) and crisp cotton sheets for that extra indulgence and holiday luxury. You will also have your own en-suite shower room for added privacy.
Outside you will find a paved patio area with dining table and chairs along with a charcoal Webber BBQ. Beyond is a turfed lawn for you to use at your leisure. There is also a public footpath running adjacent to the farm which provides a gateway to the many rural walks available on the doorstep. For those of you that like to explore, it's a 15 minute drive from the historic market town of Henley-In-Arden, 20 minutes from Solihull, and about half an hour from Warwick, Leamington and Stratford Upon Avon.

The Milk Parlour
A spacious single storey cottage with a large open plan living area which defines sophistication and comfort. There is a well-equipped kitchen with plenty of room to sit and chat around the island or relax on the sofa overlooking the countryside. The cottage has two bedrooms of similar size with super-king beds (which can be made into a twin bedroom by request at time of booking) and en-suite shower rooms for your privacy. The Milk Parlour also welcomes one well-behaved dog (there is an additional charge for this).

About the host
Hosted by Host

Simon and I have spent the last three years sympathetically renovating what was an old calf shed and milking parlour to provide two relaxing country retreats for short breaks or longer stays. I recently retired from teaching to carry out the vision we had over ten years ago when we bought the farm. We are both very excited and look forward to welcoming our guests to our new venture and will be readily available should you need anything
