About this property
Wern Ddu, Defynnog, scenic Brecon Beacons
Wern Ddu is set down a private drive (private parking) in its own garden with beautiful views down to the river and of the surrounding Beacons. In the designated dark skies area of the Brecon Beacons National Park with miles of walks and exciting visitor attractions, Wern Ddu offers the perfect dog friendly escape for up to four guests in a relaxing atmosphere within a short distance from Brecon, Merthyr Tydfil and the villages of Sennybridge and Defynnog with their traditional pubs and shops.
The space
The property is remote yet close to local amenities and activities. The surrounding countryside is unrivaled in its beauty with excellent walks right on your doorstep and Pen y Fan within 15 minutes drive
Guest access
The area of the ruined barn makes a beautiful sheltered space for a BBQ with the lawn stretching out next to it. Around the other side of the house is the patio with table and chairs with views of the river and Pen y Fan. The laundry is equipped with washing machine and dryer. The dog kennels are also available for use. Guests may also have access to the river but care is needed as the access can be steep and slippy.
Other things to note
The local area is mostly sheep farming, so any dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
