Great location

Lovely house that suited our family very well for Christmas. Host went above and beyond and even asked if we need anything for Christmas such as a small tree. House was located near everything that we needed. Would recommend this house.

Beautiful, clean house, comfortable rooms, plenty of space for socialising. Great location, and free parking a huge bonus. Unfortunately, the email address given by Expedia did not work - I had to resort to further online searches to contact the host, Charlotte, for help with check in instructions. However, once I got in touch with Charlotte, she was very helpful and sent clear instructions and advice on local dining options. For the first night, we chose to cook for ourselves, and were surprised to find the oven is in fact a gas oven - so dinner took a bit longer than expected. The kitchen is very well equipped, but some items e.g. chopping boards, were so well hidden, we had to open every drawer to find them! The staircase to the top floor is quite windy - be careful on the first landing as it is easy to miss your step and lose balance. It was very warm during our stay, so we were pleased the windows could be opened. Overall, we had a really lovely stay.
