Neighbourhood description The property is very close to beautiful local walks, particularly along the Chew Valley (see pictures) but also around the outskirts of Keynsham towards Bath and Bristol.
A stone’s throw from the property is 17th-century “Ship Inn" with unusual stone mullioned windows at the front. At the back, a terraced garden on several levels, and two petanque courts, overlooking the riverside park. Good food is served. The more modern “New Inn” is 5 mins walk and has a hillside garden and live sport. Both pubs have local real ales.
The local cricket club (home of Marcus Trescothick) serves many ciders and beers is 5 mins walk away and has a large terrace which welcomes non-members. A lovely place to watch local cricket in the sun from April-September on weekends and most evenings.
The centre of historic Keynsham is minutes away, with shops, wine bars and restaurants.
Getting around Located in a dead end with a walk-in entrance to the park the location is quiet with free on-street parking outside the property. On-street parking in the streets nearby is also possible if needed. You can walk through the park or up through the high street to pubs, restaurants, cafes, a supermarket, corner shops.
The train station is about 9 mins walk through the park or you can drive to the station park. The centres of both Bristol and Bath are just a 9 minute ride away - what easier way to visit the city sights and avoid parking issues?
