About this property

Coach House Faner - Three Bedroom Cottage, Sleeps 6

Coach House Faner is a modern bungalow-style cottage set on an organic smallholding, where guests are not only welcome, but encouraged to feed the ducks and chickens, and immerse themselves in the rural life at this wonderful Anglesey holiday home. Built with accessibility in mind, it is perfect for any family holiday. In an ideal location for exploring Ynys Môn (the Isle of Anglesey) and is just a short drive to the Eryri National Park and the famous Snowdonia mountain range.

A family friendly bungalow, the organic smallholding sits just over half a mile from the Menai Straits on the edge of the village of Brynsiencyn in the south west corner of Ynys Môn.

Set out over just one ground floor, the cottage has three bedrooms (one twin, one with bunk beds and one bedroom that has a zip/link super king bed, but which can also be set up for twin beds if required. If you would prefer the beds set up as two singles, let us know when booking. There is also a travel cot supplied if you have an additional infant.

From an accessibility perspective, the cottage has been specifically designed with the needs of wheelchair users and the less mobile in mind, with ramp access upon entry, and wide doors throughout. Some of the beds are able to be raised on request and one of the beds in the twin room is electrically adjustable to raise head or feet. You will also have the use of a rise and recline chair which is provided.

Then, you will find a spacious family wet room, with facilities to help those with more limited mobility or who may need additional assistance, as the wet room has seated shower and grab rails. There is a utility and spacious open plan kitchen-lounge-diner which opens out onto a patio, with French doors that look out onto the garden and terrace space.

A picturesque cottage with many fantastic facilities such as under floor central heating, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, microwave, TV and DVD, including an additional TV in twin bedroom. Don't forget your wellies if you want to feed the ducks and chickens or help look for eggs (they are across the lane)!

There is WiFi internet access and garden furniture for outdoor seating. Solar panels supply most of the electricity so up to 70KW hours usage are included in the tariff, and charged at cost thereafter. Whilst perfect for a family holiday, this modern cottage has also been designed with the needs of wheelchair users and the less mobile in mind, with ramp access and wide doors throughout. Some of the beds may be raised on request and one of the beds in the twin room is electrically adjustable to raise head or feet. A rise and recline chair is also provided. The wet room has seated shower and grab rails.
