The story behind the Hooikiep
The Hooikiep is inspired by the traditional Drenthe hay barn. Originally used for storing hay, straw, or grain, it was supported by four wooden posts with a movable thatched roof. We’ve translated this unique concept into an authentic holiday home, combining the cosy atmosphere of the past with modern comfort.

Heerlijk gegeten en gedronken in het restaurant. Een prima fiets gehuurd en gefietst door een prachtige omgeving. De broodjes werden zaterdag en zondag gebracht. Ideaal om zo je dag te beginnen. Dit adres ga ik onthouden.

We zijn warm welkom geheten op de camping. Bij binnenkomst in het huisje (hooikiep) zagen we direct

We zijn warm welkom geheten op de camping. Bij binnenkomst in het huisje (hooikiep) zagen we direct dat het huisje verzorgd en schoon was. Alles wat je nodig hebt, is aanwezig. Onze kinderen (in de leeftijden 4 tot 12 jaar) hebben zich heerlijk vermaakt in het (overdekte) zwembad, de speeltuin, de kabelbaan die in de bossen op het bungalowpark staat, én bij de animatie-momenten. Bij een lichtjestocht voor de kinderen stond er bij terugkomst warme chocolademelk en glühwein klaar. Zo leuk! Hoogtepunt van ons verblijf was de laatste avond waarop er een foodtruckfestival op de camping was georganiseerd. Erg gezellig en top verzorgd!! We komen graag nog eens terug!
