Yes the house was perfect and great size, the host even made a nice cake for our arrival. Location is so quiet and we even saw wild deer. Host introduced themselves and were super helpful. Great place.

Beautiful property with a lovely far reaching view towards the Pentland Hills. Great gardens and the house keeper was very helpful.

Westwood Cottage is cozy and comfortable! With enough space for more than just my husband and I. We enjoyed the fireplace in the evenings after our days of adventuring all around Scotland! Very lovey!

Our group of 4 adults and 2 teens traveled from the U.S. and stayed her for 1 week and we were so thrilled with this property! The beds are comfortable and the 2 full bathrooms are spacious. The kitchen is also spacious and has everything you need and more! Upon arrival, the property owner left us some shortbread, eggs, milk, and bread- WOW!! There were also fresh flowers which was such a nice touch. We also loved when the horse would come up to the fence in the mornings and we fed her apples! You are only 5min to the train station and then it’s only 20min to Edinburgh. We also visited Stirling and North Berick- highly recommended! The only minor “issue” was that there isn’t a dryer, just a clothes line… which is fine if it isn’t raining. There is a portable rack for inside, but it isn’t convenient if you need your clothes the next day… however, the owner lives right next to the cottage, so when I asked if there was a dryer setting on the washing machine and she explained there wasn’t, she kindly generously let us use hers!! My only other suggestions would be to add hooks in the bathrooms/ bedrooms to hang towels… but that’s really it! We truly enjoyed staying here!

Ein traumhaftes Haus mit wunderschöner Umgebung

Westwood Cottage ist ein wunderschönes Haus, sehr gepfegt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten die Zeit geniessen. Der Blick über die weite Landschaft mit den vielen Wetterwechseln war immer wieder entspannend und traumhaft. Die Nähe zur Farm, mit den Pferden auf der Koppel, haben wir als Bereicherung empfunden. Alles war einfach perfekt!!! und vielen Dank für Brot und Milch und und....! Unsere allerbeste Bewertung!
