The loft is a beautifully illuminated retreat, featuring three large windows that flood the space with natural light. On the lower floor, the living area invites you to unwind with a large TV equipped with Netflix, providing a perfect spot to relax after a day of sightseeing. For those who enjoy the convenience of home-cooked meals, the kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, including a dishwasher and a Nespresso machine with complimentary pods to start your mornings right.
The sleeping area is located in the upstairs loft, featuring two double beds separated by a privacy screen for your comfort. Due to the building’s unique and charming architecture, the ceiling is sloped and lower on one side, creating a cozy and intimate feel. The bathroom is sleek and functional, and while there is no washing machine inside the unit, several self-service laundries are located just around the corner. Full air conditioning ensures a perfect climate regardless of the season.
Staying here means living where the locals do, on a quiet and safe street surrounded by authentic bakeries, supermarkets, and traditional restaurants. A short 10-minute walk downhill leads you directly to the Gaia riverside, where the historic wine cellars are located. Its proximity to the General Torres and Câmara de Gaia stations means you can reach the historic center of Porto in just two stops, making navigation effortless.
Most of the city’s famous landmarks are within walking distance, offering breathtaking views of the Douro River along the way. If you are traveling by car, street parking is available and is free overnight and throughout the weekend. With the metro and light rail just a few meters away, the entire region is easily accessible from your front door.
While we provide our guests with full autonomy, we are always available to offer assistance and local recommendations to ensure your stay is perfect. A digital guidebook and a physical folder with tourist tips are provided for your convenience.
Please be aware that the stairs leading to the loft are narrow and steep, so we recommend leaving heavy luggage on the ground floor; this may not be suitable for those with mobility concerns. As a welcome gesture, we provide a local treat upon arrival. Please note that the Vila Nova de Gaia city tax is a legal requirement and must be paid in cash at check-in. For guests staying longer than a week, we provide a complimentary change of linens and towels.
- Change of bed linens and towels for stays longer than 7 nights -The sofa bed is only prepared when the number of guests exceeds the available bed capacity. If you wish to use it with fewer guests, an additional fee of 20€ will apply. - It is possible to include an extra cleaning service during your stay (cost €50/stay) - Stairs to go to the bedroom - If you book for 4 or less people but want to use the fold-out bed/sofa in the living room, please let us know during the booking process so that we can arrange the necessary bed linen - the cost of extra sheets is 25 euros, payable on arrival. Otherwise, we will assume that you are staying in both double beds prepared. - There is a digital house book with detailed rules about the property whose address is posted in the apartment. - All guests must present a valid ID. - A city tax is applied to all guests staying at properties located in Vila Nova de Gaia.
House rules: - Stays of unaccompanied minors are not allowed. - Subscribing to channels not included in the TV package will incur an additional charge for the corresponding service; - In case of non-return of the keys, a fee of €100 will be charged for each pair of keys. -If during your stay you leave the keys inside the house, an extra fee will be charged according to the following schedule: weekdays between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM: €50; other days/times: €100. - We promote the sustainable use of resources: excessive consumption may be charged; - The facilities can only be used by registered guests; - Cleaning can be provided during your stay for an extra cost of €50. - We do not accept large animals. Only 1 animal per booking. To avoid noise and/or damage, animals cannot be left unattended in the apartment. Owners must ensure cleanliness and hygiene within the apartment and building. - Garbage must be deposited in the bin; - The property allows self check-in; however, after 10:00 PM we are unable to provide support upon arrival; - If you choose an in-person check-in, it is important to provide your arrival time at least 48 hours in advance. If you do not arrive within 30 minutes of the scheduled time, the host may need to leave and a new appointment will be required, subject to availability. Check-ins after 10:00 PM require prior confirmation and have an additional fee of €25; - Failure to comply with the check-out time requires a payment of €25 for each hour of delay. - Treat the house as if it were your own. Leave everything as you found it.

Excellente communication avec l’hôte. L’hébergement est identique à l’annonce. Le petit plus qui fais toujours beaucoup plaisir de l’eau fraîche dans le frigo, après une journée de marche à porto sous 25 degrés, c’est une attention très agréable. Et le point très positif l’hébergement est autorisé pour les animaux de compagnie et ne facture pas un tarif beaucoup plus chère pour cette prestation.
