Happy Days Afan Forest is an ex-miners cottage, set on a typical terrace of the Welsh valleys. The recently renovated Happy Days Afan Forest provides accommodation with outside space. Additionally, there is a secure Bike shed with CCTV that opens out onto the 13 mile-long cycle track, Afan forest is famed for its mountain biking and hiking and is ideal for dog walking. On a clear night, the view of the stars is amazing. perfect for stargazers The house is only 10 minutes from Maesteg town with its array of shops, and supermarkets. cafes, bars, and restaurants with good train, bus, and taxi services. The Gower peninsular with its endless award-winning beaches is approximately 1 hr away. Aberavon or the pretty seaside town of Porthcawl is only 30 to 35 minutes away. The property is non-smoking and has free fast wifi. Located 31 miles from the City of Cardiff and 32 miles from Swansea

The house, set over three floors comes with 2 bedrooms, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, wifi, and a fully equipped kitchen that provides guests with a dishwasher, an oven, a washing machine, a microwave, and a toaster. Towels and bed linen are featured in the house. There is also a seating area outside for alfresco dining. or if you want to dine out there is a restaurant just 50 yards away from the house on the cycle track.

Bike hire is available nearby and the area is popular for cycling and hiking. A baby safety gate, highchair, and travel cot are also available at the accommodation. Additionally, for those bringing their fur babies, there are towels. bucket.poo bags. and a water bowl in the shed which can be accessed from the back of the house for easy cleanup after a day of exploring
There is an outside tap and hose to help with the very messy cleanups.

Great holiday

I arrived at afan Forest retreat. And was immediately overwhelmed with the house. Stunning decor,well thought out. The owner, Linda had thought of everything,!! From spare tooth brushes.to high chairs.baby bottles. Toiletries. Basic foodstuffs etc. the rooms were well thought out.the beds super comfy. They went above and beyond. The are was stunning. The neighbours and locals friendly.linda and fran has thought of guests itenery with places to visit. Like my favourite water falls. All in all I cannot recommend this place enough. It was like a home from home. Thank you linda for a wonderful stay.and thank you fran too. Can't wait to come back!!!! From a very happy Karen Tony and boys. Xx
