We could not get in into the property. We did not stay there. To begin with, the communication with the host was difficult and after the on line booking, when I stated that we would me coming there by train from Lisbon, and would me checking in between 3 and 4 pm (1500 and 1600 hours) we were advised that the host did not read any other message we left on that site/booking. We requested to communicate with him via What'sApp, but that did not happened. On the day we were scheduled to arrive, Fri, 25 July, we arrived to the Chalet at 3:30 and it was locked with a chain on the gate and no one was there . We did not have WiFi and could not make the long distance call from our US phones to the phone listed in Portugal. Waited for 1/2 hour in the sun 87 degrees and finally decide to arrange to find a hotel to stay the two nights. I would like to be refunded for any charge made to my credit card for this stay, since we could not use it and instead had to pay high price for a hotel, on Fri/Sat in the middle of the high season for tourism. I have not received my Credit card statement yet, so I don't know how much I (was?) could have been charged for this stay. I would like someone from Vrbo to email me and give me a phone number for me to call you and a name to title of a representative of your company to discuss this issue. Thank you
