About this property

Wolsey Road Oxford

This is a lovely, three-bedroom house with three, very cosy double beds - perfect to relax after a night out in Oxford.

It is a 20 minute bus journey into Oxford, or 10 minute walk into Summertown, with supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, a vibrant art gallery and theatre. In down time, discover lovely Sunnymead and Cutteslowe Park - Oxford's largest park with many facilities.

The house has off-road parking at the front and ample parking spaces nearby, and also a free, small car park near by.
The space
You will have use of the entire house and garden.

There are 3 double bedrooms upstairs and bathroom upstairs.
Downstairs is the living room, dining room and kitchen.
Back door leads to a spacious back garden - there are steps leading up to a paved area with mature plants and a fig tree.

When you arrive, self-check-in is available.
And there is space to park your car at the front.

The Surrounding Area:

*Cutteslowe is an amazing area with a vibrant history.

*Wolsey Road was subject to a 'wall' erected between one part of Cutteslowe and the other - you will notice the name of the road change as you drive along it.

*You will be staying a short walk from Summertown, Oxford.

*You are a minute's walk from Sunnymead Park, with a hidden gem of a bathing area - not known to many - now known as wild swimming, this has gained a lot of popularity lately!

*There is a large golf course across the road.

*Port Meadow is a nice walking distance, if you're lucky you will see horses, ponies and cows and of course, plenty of birdlife there. When you've had enough, there are famous pubs to explore.

*Kidlington and Bicester Village are to the north and Oxford is to the south, there is very easy access off the A40 from the M40, or if you are coming by train, Gloucester Green station is the main train station and Oxford Parkway is the newer station, just a few minute's walk away.

*We are ideally placed for a commute into London or Birmingham, or a shopping trip to Bicester Village!

*There's too much history to mention about Oxford - Tolkein, C.S. Lewis, so come and use this charming 100-year-old house as your base.

*Excellent writing retreat.
Guest access
You will have access to the whole house and garden.
