Welcome to a real gem with a view over Lake Vänern and close to a cozy beach. You live in this nice red cottage with white knots, southwest of the charming lake town of Mariestad. Down to the lake is only about 250 m from this pleasant accommodation. Here you live well in a rural environment with close proximity to swimming, nature experiences and several golf courses nearby. The cottage is charming and well-planned with its 55 sqm and carefully renovated in 2023 with a new kitchen from HTH. The interior is warm and very homely. Where the new meets the house and its charm. In total, the house offers 4 beds. The large bedroom is directly to the left with a double bed of 160 cm. Inside there are two comfortable armchairs and a small TV corner. The fireplace is not usable, but feel free to light a candle to get extra atmosphere in the evenings. across from the bedroom is the house's second bedroom with a 140 cm bed. The hall has underfloor heating and also a stove that crackles a lot in autumn. Straight ahead, the nice kitchen opens up with everything you could need. Here there is a kitchen sofa, dining table and chairs. Behind the nice wooden door is the house's bathroom, which is bright and fresh. Toilet/washbasin and shower cubicle and also with washing machine. So if you want to stay longer, this is a perfect accommodation or if you are traveling with small children. There is plenty of seating outside and the lawn is large and pleasant to play in. There is also a boule court that you can borrow. The house shares land with the nice house owners who live in the red house next door. Here, next to Lake Vänern, there is the opportunity to sunbathe and swim on several beaches. So there are plenty of places to explore. Feel free to bring bicycles because there is a cycle path "Vänern runt" right next to the house. In the lake town of Mariestad, 7 km, there are beautiful streets with cobblestones and well-preserved 17th-century houses. Göta canal starts in Sjötorp, just north of town. Feel free to rent a bicycle and take a trip along the beautiful canal. The river Tidan flows through the municipality and has its outlet in the center. In the countryside around the city there are several cultural treasures worth a visit and in the center of the city is Gamla Stan, one of the country's best preserved city centres. 5 miles to Skara Sommarland water park with a variety of attractions that are always appreciated by the children.
